I made the stuffed peppers today. I had extra meat stuffing so I stuffed fresh shitake mushrooms that I had in the fridge. The shitake actually tastes even better than the peppers! Thanks to Dzung for this recipe. And also thank you Dzung for the measurements for the woodear mushrooms (2 Tbspn) and vermicelli (1/4 cup chopped into smaller pieces). I used those two items instead of instant oats. I have those two items in my cupboard but not oats! haha. Opposite of everyone! I want to try tofu next time too! So delicious.
What an awesome interpretation of the original! One thing I hope you do in the future is maybe do make the original recipe and then provide how you changed it up. I like the idea of educating people on Vietnamese food/culture so they can be more informed. :)
More Quinoa or lentil/bean recipes please! I love your soup recipes and can’t wait to see more. Also, I’m always looking for iron-rich recipes as I am anemic. Thank you for taking the time to share these recipes with us. ❤️
We also have stuffed peppers in ukrainian cuisine. But we are using whole peppers not halved and our ukrainian kind of sweet pepper. It looks like mix of bell pepper and chili one with pointed end. You need to cut off the top of it and clean the seeds so it will be like a cone. Then you could stuff it and cook in the tomato sauce. For stuffing part we are using mix of ground pork and rice.
Oh, I so want to try this now. I usually put half cooked rice in the mince and then boil the peppers with tomato sauce and a bit of sour cream. Also make stuffed tomatoes, aubergines and courgettes. Can't wait to try your variant 😊
❤️The stuffed peppers recipe with zoodles gonna definitely try that my mom brought me stuffed peppers with rice today for lunch such comfort food love your recipes your awesome 🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🌶🌶🌶🌶
Uhm, I am definitely Team LOVE CILANTRO! Lol. Can't wait to try this meal! Thanks Dzung! And great job on the hard work!! We so appreciate it!!! Loving this series! ❤
Thanks for making this video as I wanted something low carb! I made these peppers last night but the meat was still raw after I cook them for 15 mins! I ended up halving my pepper and meat mixture just so they can cook all the way. The only thing I didn’t do was make the sauce at the end for the peppers to simmer in. Is that way it’s not initially cooked all the way? If you can make more low carb meals that would be great! Love your channel and everything you’re showing us!
Great recipe! My five year old daughter wives watching your videos with me now! We watch before bed each night and I can’t turn it off until you take a bite “we have to watch her take a bite, mommy!” Haha
I‘ve been loving your veggie soup and overnight oats, been eating it a lot lately. Will try the rest of the recipes too, esp the chicken souvlaki In Austria we also make meat stuffed bell peppers. I just don’t like cooked bell peppers lol Can you do a lentil soup and a soup with rice in it? 😊
Looks delicious, I'll def. be making this....of course yet again we have 4 haters who did thumbs down...oh well...these are good keep it up pleaseee 😊❤️
Gluten free too! I love your recipes and your energy! I’ve been battling non Hodgkin lymphoma and 3 autoimmune diseases one being celiac disease. I loved your Pho 🍲 recipes and now crave them. 💗
I heard Squid brand is okay for cooking, but if you're using it for something else, like nuoc mam (the sweet fish dipping sauce), you should use better quality like Red Boat or the Three Crabs brand (the one made in Vietnam as I think there's one from Thailand, too).
I stopped watching when you used ground turkey in place of ground pork then complaint that ground pork has "too much fat". It's obvious that you aren't knowledgeable of what a real low carb diet is so you probably shouldn't be teaching others about low carb recipes. Pro-tip: low carb is a HIGH FAT diet.
