God I was kind of in love with Mimi. She could sit back there and be doing so little and just have such an effect, such a presence, such a sweetness. Rest her soul, & bless Alan.
The songs will ALWAYS be there. And she definitely made her time count. How many of us can say that? I can't. Secret Name is one of my favorite albums. Heaven now has another great artist.
God gave us the artists, but the vast majority (99.9999999%) do not end up in heaven, for obvious reasons, they didn't obey God's laws through faith. Die in sin, go to hell, them's the rules.

I was lucky enough to see Low 3 times, at the local record store where I worked. They crashed at my place. Al, Zack and Mimi were some of the nicest people I ever met. So sorry to hear that Mimi is gone.

When Low did a KEXP session some 12 years, Alan answered a question about his guitar tuning. It's an open G tuning he's used since he was 19 so the chords he plays are going to appear in slightly different shapes and places along the fretboard as opposed to standard tuning. Once tuned to open G, then you could suss out the chords he's playing and then transpose them back to standard tuning if you prefer. Hope that helps. Amazing song by the way.
