I sent a vill to weaken the scout so my scout could finish it off. 6:40 My reaction was actually "Are you kidding me? Why am I getting MBL douched?" I watch every T90 video so I wasn't completely caught off guard. 7:38 Thanks T90 for reminding me I'm bad at house placement 11. It's not like I'm a low elo or anything. Anyways, I started building them with my dock vill and was too focused on other things to effectively move him to build houses elsewhere. 7:55 I literally never noticed that villager 11, even when rewatching the game. Maybe I meant for him to dock there and I forgot. 12:39 I knew I would find his base eventually. I have a habit of scouting the map from top side to bottom side when searching for my opponent. 13:46 Well of course, 11. Gotta have her bring the wood to set up the dock 11. Also, I gave up water because I felt that I didn't want to waste the macro on something that was going to run out soon. I saw the stables with the monk and started making pikes w/ a checkpoint at my farms. 28:48 I would sign up instantly 11. 29:08 I made petards just for the mastapiece 11. I knew I could have made rams or trebs, but I couldn't let red have all the mastapiece moves. 35:00 I thought my knights had cleaned those scouts up but I guess I missed some. I didn't hear the attack bell and I don't have the game awareness of a 1600+ player 11. 35:48 Yes we saluted each other. We both laughed and said gg. This was the craziest game I have ever played. Thanks T90 for casting it. P.S. My elo was 1064 during this and his was 1104. Now I'm at 1111. P.P.S. I went towers to attack the fishing ships at his docks. P.P.P.S. I'm going to be playing in a low elo/average elo tournament hosted by Age of Noob (Spirit of the Law has him on his recommended channels) on Twitch sometime early May if people are tired of pro play.

These players MMR is perfect for Low Elo Legends, they've bad enough to do really stupid stuff, but good enough to execute it competently.

T90, some thoughts about low ELO: 1 - is more appealing to lots of players, because we identify more with the way the game develop (there are more low ELOs than high score players); 2 - playing the campaign mode influence low ELO to do things that are not so good on matches, but make sense on single play; 3 - we can't multi task like higher ELO, so that's why we are so sloppy on several moves.

Low Elo Legends are so fun to watch. Honestly I only watched community games since Pro players 1 vs 1 are somehow boring. Now I started to watch more 1v1 thanks to Low Elo Legends. Thanks T90!

That mill in view range of three enemy stables is the best thing I've ever seen.

I recommend what WinterGaming did for bronze league heroes. He set up discord server where subs were able to rate the submitted games. Then Winter just casts the most "worthy" games and he doesnt have to watch them himself before the casting, so most of the time he is surprised by the game

Seals. Great white sharks naturally prey upon seals,especially baby seals due to their inexperience of avoiding predators. Loving this series! Thanks for keeping it going.

@T90Official I watched your videos and I tried a Persian town centre rush for the first time. My opponent had no idea how to react. I chased down his villagers with my villagers, and he resigned after losing too many vills in vill fighting. I couldn't believe it actually worked. I was so hyped! Thanks for sharing these videos man, you're the best!

This episode is really good. Unlike many low elo legends with extremely stale game play and poor reaction, enjoyable only to laugh at them. Very dynamics, with constant adaptation and countering each other.

I like low Elo Legends not because it's informative, which it is, but because I can laugh at the mistakes you're pointing out that I wouldn't have recognized myself. But you point them out so I can laugh at them like they're noobs and I know better.

Call me crazy.. but I actually learn allot from Low ELO Legends.

Back when Starcraft II was popular, there were a couple of series like this called "Bronze League Heroes", and to an extent, "Funday Monday" (there were some top players who chipped in a game with the Funday Monday restriction, but it was mostly low to mid level players). This game reminded me of those times. Side note, I've been playing since around when AoC came out, and so when people say, "wait, you can attack/build/repair diagonally through walls?!one1?"" I say, "duh! It's been like that since AoK!". Young me had run into a lot of crazy tricks and exceptions, though I still learn a thing or two. Glad this old game has been catapulted into the modern RTS arena and inspiring a new generation of gamers. :)

This is the fun Low-ELO rating to watch, those others that are too low it is boring, nothing happens. This is the fun rating range, around 1000, everything can happen

Great game I really enjoyed watching it. Teal won couse he didnt freak out and he adapted and hit red at the weak spot. I hope for more of theese they are really inspirational for a mediocre player like me.

What I really like about AOE2 is how the game lead can change hands a few times. It takes a lot to close out a push, so it gives the defender a chance to get back in the game. Most RTSs have one player get the upper hand and never look back.

These guys are ten times better than previous low Elo legends. I thought the point of low Elo legends was to show hilariously terrible play, instead of merely sub-optimal play.

Every time I think I have the volume right watching this in the background while studying and then T90 reacts...WHATTTT?!?!?! And I jump haha

Interesting, these players are actually in the 60th percentile of Ranked players too. So pretty much above average in every sense of the word. A long way from pro though

5:48 well I tried the Persian Douche on the hard AI today. I got hos TC down, cheered up relaxed a bit and didn't create vills anymore. Turns out I forgot that you can obviosly rebuild the TC, which the AI did and crushed me.

I've watched a few videos before low elo legends, but I subbed for low elo legends. I know I will never be top tier at this game. I like building pretty cities too much and I tend to like slow paced strategy games so some of the unique stuff that low elo players do is great to see.

This is a good series man, keep it up. Casters usually focus on top player. Giving us a view of mediocre players is not only fun, we also learn a lot more about the game. There is very little point in my opinion to emulate top player when someone can't even manage the most basic things well.

I'm one of those people who kept watching your TC drop videos, which really made me want to play again, so I TC dropped to 1180 before losing a couple in a row. Lol. For clarity's sake, I am responding to a point in the video to which T90 says that players who watch his videos and then try out the strats make him happy.

This series is brilliant. It is entertaining and your comments help me become a better player. Can you please point out even more often alternative routes that should have been taken ? E.g. which research should be done one reaching castle age first... etc. Thank you and keep up this great channel.

You may knock people for learning things from Fat Slob but watching his videos I learned that Heavy Scorpions are great and boy do people at my elo get caught off guard by scorpions.

If you would do some tutorials can you please think about making some map overview for the ones that have non standard resources (for example golden swamp had more cattle snd you can dock but no berreis). Or you can include more map hints and recomendation if you have got some LEL games on them.

Hey T90, love your videos! You (, my roommate and well, Corona) basically got me back to playing Aoe2 after many years. One question: Would you really consider 1100 elo already as low-elo? I always thought more of >1000. I just improved myself from 1000 to slightly above 1100 elo and most people that I play against now actually have a pretty solid dark age build - the chaos begins rather when dark age is over... :D

this was the first low elo legends that i was actually mad at the player. I mean, he knows stuff. He knows build orders, persian douche, cross strategy, but wtf was he doing? 10 stables, no bloodlines, weird walls, some quick wall that costed like 800 wood to save 1 vill 1111 wtf seriously

This was kinda dumb though well deserved win for justin, red seemed to know what he was doing until we found out he couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag which has a knife attached to the inside with a sign saying use me. all he had to do was build pikes to save his tc.
