Amazing video! It’s strange that there’s not more videos out there explaining such an important concept especially to those starting out on a vegan diet. You’re so right, it can be so ridiculously easy to overeat fibre on a vegan diet and my stomach gave me the signals lol. I feel much more informed now and will definitely have an easier time planning future meals✨

This video was so helpful. I just went to the ER for what felt like a severe UTI and they said I am severely constipated which didn't make sense to me because all I eat is fiber! But yea, I think I should be eating less fiber. I've been plant based for about a decade.

I’ve been vegan for 13 years and never cared too much about the health benefits of veganism other than it is a bonus, for me vegan is ethical and for animals, but currently I have gotten into body sculpting and have always experienced bloating, also I want to put muscle on. There is not a lot of Information on low fiber high protein vegan meals! Thank you!

Be careful with cucumbers. If you really need to be low fiber, please peel and remove the seeds. 😊 I have IBD and I have been low fiber for years.

Interesting topic! I also suffer from IBS, but with the costipation kind of IBS. I eat a lot of fibre and drink a lot too, do you think too much fibre can also cause constipation?

I don't suffer from IBS but wanted to test a low fibre diet anyway :) Yes, from my understanding too much fibre - with not enough water - can cause constipation. As long as you drink enough water as well, especially when consuming example chia seeds or flaxseeds it should be ok :)

@@IzzyM Happy to hear you don't have IBS, it is really awful! I did the low Fodmap diet, but I was also still suffering from a restrictive ED and low weight. I found It really restrictive and it made me scared of food even more! Right now I am normal weight again, but have still lots of IBS-C problems and lacking hunger cues. I have tried so many things, and I do drink a lot of water. I don't do well on chia and flaxseed, it gives me cramps and especially from flaxseed I get acne breakouts. Perhaps it will stay this way and it is a chronic result from my ED past, but I still hope I will get some relief in the future!

Yes do it! I love them.. but i definitely recommend adding more vegetables when making them!
