Thanks for answering and for understand my concerns. Never flew in a Maule before but have never heard nothing but good about them. Be safe and have fun. Nothing like the freedom that comes from flying your own aircraft.
Absolutely. If you can find a Maule, go fly. Awesome. Check out some of my other videos in the Maule. We love it. And aside, I would never post anything I felt was misleading or unsafe. The Maule really is that amazing. 90 percent of things you can do in a Maule you would never do in a Cessna or Cherokee...you would only be able to do it once...Have a great weekend.
Thanks for watching and commenting. You should know that every aircraft has different characteristics. The Maule is a sporty STOL aircraft, tube and fabric. Designed to do just this. It has vortex generators that allow much slower flight without a stall. You really have to aggravate the angle of attack to get a try stall in a Maule. You hear it going on and off, meaning there is still another 10knts before any buffeting...not a stall. What you are seeing is normal Maule stuff.
Why are you doing this? Low and slow will get you dead!! That stall horn is sounding for a reason. Thanks for sharing, but please be safe. Not trying to be a smart ass and it could just be me. I was always stall shy when learning to fly and never liked that sound of the stall horn.
