One of the best planes I've ever owned (N128DH), from 2003 through 2008, the MT-7-235 is a nice combo of short field and x country performance. Kept her at the local 2100 foot strip here in Woodstock, CT -64CT- then made the "mistake" :) of letting my wife fly in a friend's Cirrus. Now I own s beautiful SR22 (my second one) and love the speed and performance but miss the fun of blasting off lost straight up in the Maule and flying with the windows "down" er...I mean "up". Have fun!
I suggest an HSI and second VOR (I replaced my Garmin 300 with a 430 but kept the KX155 and added a second VOR for my instrument training. GPSS is great with STEC30.
Hey Brian - not very youtube proficient but type in "SR22 Southbridge" and there's a video of our new plane (N33MW) flying to former home airport of 3B0. also, type jn "Woodstock J-3 Cub" and there should be a few of me flying N58029. User name is MTweiss01 and I think you can click on "other videos" so there will be a few. I wish I had some of my old Maule but alas...have fun flying your Mt-7-235 like I said. Great plane!
