Thanks for the video!! It would be fantastic if we can know the settings for every photo you have taken. It will help us to learn for example how to make a panning shot (I supose that it will work 1/30th but it is fantastic how you configure the perfect speed setting just doing it one time). In addition, it will allow us to understand how the Nikon Z6 works with high ISOs. Thanks!!

Match shutter speed to vehicle speed (1/30s for 30mph, 1/60s for 60mph), turn camera with vehicle and release shutter as you're turning. Think I learned that from Pierre Lambert's channel

Which auto-focus settings did you use for the motion shots? I tried it today with my Z6 and the same lens but the auto-focus jumped everywhere else but the subject, being a car, bus or tramway.

Go to "AF-area mode" and select "Wide-area AF (L)," use the joystick to move the 'box' around or tap on the screen. If you have it on "Auto-area AF" then the camera chooses for you what to focus on. Make sure you're also on "Focus mode" -> "AF-C" and "Release mode" -> "Continuous L" (press down on the arrows and hit "5"). I'm sure you'll get good results with these settings. Good luck.

very cool video.. always love seeing people using my camera.. wish you could have got to use the 50 and 85 1.8 native lenses they're incredible. You've made me realise how amazing buses look at night.. i need to get out and take some more night shots.. i'm also a tfl train driver so i might have to take my camera to work and take some shots in the depot of the empty trains.. never thought to do that before hmmm

How do you handle/reduce noise from ISO at night shots? in LR, without making it so creamy when using NR in LR

Most noise starts to creep in to the blacks. So firstly using the tone curve you can crush the blacks slightly to help reduce the noice, then with noice reduction you can the re add texture/clarify/sharpness eight he brush took of it make it too dreamy. Hope this helps.

Okay where to start first?! Those empty streets in London are always surprising me. This is probably the best time ever to go there for shooting without having people in the streets. I think the shots are really on par with the Sony! But those edits/shots in the subway and trains + those at chinatown were so 'sick' and the edits were amazing 😍😁 I can totally relate to the fact of shooting some 'random' photos before I have the creative flow going. It's even the same with video. Just starting, even it's pure sh*t, helps you to find motivation, look for opportunities and gives me energy too! Great video, not too long, not too short 😁 I'm starting to love your POV videos it seems 😂😁

Registered self employed business. This is my only job. I create content and life off the money from content. I’m a full time content creator. I went into depth about this subject on another comment. As of tonight with the national complete lock down I will not be going out into the city unless it is for a client shoot.

IMO its way better than the Sony - the Sony renders colours horribly , and idk why the Nikon gets a bad name - that lens is the equivalent of a kit lens, and it still performs brilliantly.

The amount of light available to the camera is still a considerable difference when compared to the day, hence the term low light. Please give examples of what you classify as “low light” and I’ll be sure to go do a video about this comment 🤙🏼

Even if the Nikon was better than the sony in every way I'd still go Sony because you can get cheap lenses for Sony. RF mount and Z mount are still way too new to have affordable glass unfortunately

@@StefanPacMan if the autofocus is slower then it performs worse... Don't you know what the word "performance" means. Also when I said "basically any lens to any camera" I didn't say all. Of course there are going to be exceptions. But 99% of lenses will work on any camera with the right adapter. Any DSLR lens or SLR lens will work on mirror less. The number of lenses that can't be adapted to E mount is infinitely smaller than the number that can't

@@StefanPacMan and if the autofocus is slower then in a lot of scenarios the lens becomes useless. Street, wildlife, events, anything with moving subjects required good autofocus, and if it's slower than it already is then it's basically useless.
