Low mileage Chrysler 5.9 360 Engine teardown Factory defect engine damage 

Maine redneck attempts to save and Rusty old dump truck that probably should have gone to the scrap yard but it only has 30,000 miles on it so we are tearing the engine down to find the damage. so this is a Chrysler 5.9 360 La motor with flat tappet cam. the truck that it's in is in 1987 Dodge d350 cabin chassis dump truck with a gallon dump bed. has a manual transmission np435 with PTO pump for the hydraulic dump bed. the truck only has 30,000 miles because from what I can tell it had a bad head gasket from the factory which caused the Pistons to hydrolock and drove a push rod through the rocker and damaged the camshaft.
