(Low Mounted) Whelen WPS-3000 Partial Failure | Edinboro, PA. 

Recorded on July 15th, 2023. This siren has had quite the history. This unit, along with another 3000 on the east side, originally came from Texas before being reinstalled in Crawford County, PA in Atlantic Twp. Both departments in Atlantic Twp replaced these sirens with Model 2s, and eventually they were moved just a stone's throw to the north here in Edinboro. This siren has been on the rocks lately as it has done the "low battery cutoff" in a previous, per Kurt. This test also occurred a few days before the area was impacted by a Tornado Warned storm. Hopefully it can be fixed or replaced soon.
