Wow! That's one rare tractor! It shows tractor makers were willing to make special models for just about any type of agriculture, from vinyard to asparagus!

That's an awesome little tractor. We had a b with a belly mower, my job was to mow the yard with it. We also had a series ll D21 and boy, what a thrill it was to do field work with that! Thanks a lot guys, enjoyed your video.

When i was kid my Dad have 1952 model b Allis Chalmers .. That's the first tractor i drive at 5 years Olds kid. seating on top the transmission for reach the clutch pedal.. and the neighbor have the WD 45 Models 1954. Just good souvenire.....

I presently have an old Allis Chalmers B . I'm guessing it's someplace in the 1940's . It has the same front axle as shown in this video . But the rear wheels are just a bit smaller . The cool thing is it came with a hand dump pull rope on the frontend loader that the front bucket had long multiple forks . It was for cleaning out barn stalls , so I was told after researching my tractor and the hydraulic lift has the hydraulic pump mounted on the rear PTO . The hydraulic pump has the option for 2 function's , which one is used to lift the frontend loader . That's how I bought it and it's all Allis Chalmers on the B tractor . Still runs and works to this day !!

Asparagus when ferned out , can reach 7 feet or more , so you can cultivate for a matter of a few weeks in the spring before it rockets past that 28"

My Grandad bought a very similar model only it had a bench wooden seat and steel wheels front and rear. It started on petrol but then you changed it to kerosene probably around ww2. My Dad had that old thing ready to crank easily by an adult. It only had a drawbar and a flat belt pulley to run the firewood saw.

Id venture to say they didn't change the gearing in the final drive to compensate for the taller tires. Probably easier to swap out the gears in the final drive than the transmission.
