this is the first time i see anything about them i dont even know what it is i am going to google them now edit: man, i just read the wikipedia article with the first song playin in the background and im teary eyed, and im a high level functioning autistic person, its hard for me to cry i was like "IS THAT HIDEO KOJIMA?"

@@siriuslockyangel8918 got randomly recommended to me, lately i have been listening to indie rock again, i consider myself a huge fan of indie, shoegaze, math rock, and stuff but thats when i was a teen, now in my 20s i kinda stopped but then in the past 7 months or so, i started digging again into bandcamp and stuff, and every time i see a channel that uploads tons of small bands (and also small rappers), i subscribe and binge them while doing stuff so i suppose the algorythm saw that i was into it and was "hmmm shes now ready for low roar"

Same here man. As mixed as my opinions are about the game I am forever grateful that I was introduced to Ryan’s music. He was someone I was hoping I’d get to see live, but in the end I’m glad I still can listen to his songs. They truly have helped me more than any other music. Something about his sound just resonates with me in a way I myself can’t quite describe. May his memory live on with us. I’ll keep coming

@@shoomp1030 I started death stranding because Kojima made it but only finished so I could listen to all the low roar music. Something about doing nothing but walking and hearing it was very touching. Those parts made me really appreciate all the walking.

I think there is something a lot of people don’t understand about people listening to what they call ‘sad music’. Especially with Low Roar’s stuff. It feels much less like wallowing in your own sadness and drowning in your own tears than it does addressing these issues head-on and feeling more energized to deal with the many challenges in life that can wear us all down from time to time. Even if it does cause me to shed a tear or two from time to time (which I will always be man enough to admit to doing) it’s a more refreshing experience when you can take a moment to reflect and appreciate that there is beauty to be found even in life’s darkest moments. I think THAT is the real legacy that Ryan left behind. Songs like Breathe In, I’ll Keep Coming, and Patience are ones that will always help me get through tougher days.

I read this as Dark Souls 2 and was very confused

In 2017 I learned Ryan originally lived in my area so he had come down to visit his family/friends and I kept watching him post being in my area. So I made a bold move an DM’d him and he had actually replied I said something along the lines of appreciating his music and wishing to meet him and he had agreed. Unfortunately It never happened Bc lack of transportation on my end biggest regret of my life! He was awesome and so friendly!

Big Parade had the same opening rift that - some other song had. Whatever that song was I can't recall now but yeah! I wonder if Build up, Build down was for Death Stranding 2?

I believe they are releasing an actual final posthumous album I don't know that they'll go on after this

Honestly i wont stop, i am greatfully for all god does, the good and bad things happens for an purpose Die,death are all part of something bigger than us. I may recommend you learn more if you want about cicles of life, about void. You cant change a person, you can only influence and help on his/her process of life Everyone has his/her own flux on this life. I on otherhand can do a thing: pray for God bless you and illuminate your life so you can find light on your path my friend. Because carry about death isn't something that make you walk better on your path in this journey called Life. With time you will understand better my words and why i thank so much God.

You are exclusively referring to the ignorant, religion-based idea of God and prayer that traditional evangelical Christians depend on in blind faith, instead of actually taking the time to learn empathy towards others. That’s not the only way to view God though, and that’s not the way true prayer works. Many Christian’s would argue with this, (I would know, I was one for the first 14 years of my life) but prayer is not a genie in a bottle who will grant you wishes if you rub a magical lamp. And God is certainly not an all-knowing puppeteer who sits in a room somewhere far away operating some kind of infinitely complex control panel. Because although more and more people these days are moving away from organized religion, most people aren’t becoming any less spiritual as a result. All I’m saying is that regardless of this one person’s potential beliefs, don’t make assumptions about anyone who uses the term God, or even someone who identifies as Christian. Don’t assume that someone either does or doesn’t believe in God, or that someone who does is Christian, or religious, or anything else, even if it may be true in most cases. Nothing in this universe is naturally binary, falling into one of two categories. Everything is a spectrum with an infinite number of possible varieties and exceptions. I too was fortunate to discover Kojima by chance back in the late 90’s which led to me following his work throughout the years until Death Stranding came out and became an important part of my life as well. This led to my wife and I discovering Low Roar around the time of our honeymoon -a week after the game launched. Ever since then, this band has been played in our car and around our house so much that even our 4 year old knows some of the lyrics and asks to listen to them sometimes. Lol We too were devastated to hear about Ryan, and although our belief in God may differ in some ways, we too believe that everything happens for a reason…

Wait when did he pass and how?? Wow.... I just remember finding "tonight tonight tonight" on RU-vid when it first came out before they got popular.

@@MindMaelstrom Turin here, the first one was postponed two times 'cause of covid, two weeks before the final date he wrote “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will have to cancel this tour. Life works in mysterious ways. We love you and are very sorry. But on a positive note , the new record is going into mixing. Thanks for all the support". I surely didn't expected his passing :(

Supposedly this isn't the new album. Saw a comment that said most of these are from a pre LR album from '09. So the new unreleased music album will be done whenever it is. This album here isn't on the official low roar RU-vid channel (as in recently released). The last upload there was the tribute to Ryan a day or so after his tragic passing. 😢

Here to answer some questions, Aspirin was not, the unreleased album is called “Conscious, Not Really” which is what the cover is related to, That album was basically an older version of the self titled, with a lot of the original songs but they are mixed differently and have altering lyrics however songs like aspirin and son of mine are from an older 2009 album predating the name “Low Roar”, it was just labeled as “Ryan Karazija’s album”, I don’t know what it was going to be called but that album is where most of these songs are from.

@@WeWuzzer8118 I was thinking the same thing, but its amazing that he went on to produce what he wanted, while having Radiohead as an obvious inspiration, I will him dearly.
