8:46 what he said there, in this complaining session, literally made 0 fucking sense. if you hop straight into ranked without ANY prior knowledge other than watching other people play said character and call them "easy mode" or "dumbed down", you are almost guaranteed to lose no matter how good you may think you are simply because game sense can only take you so far. it's like hopping into a hero shooter, going straight into ranked, picking a role without knowing the strengths and weaknesses, LOSING, and then saying "i should never lose because i know how to aim so it must be the game".
I have to say, he made one cold ass take. There shouldn't be a single SF competitive player who should agree with Dale there. Maybe in a game like FighterZ, where the characters are supposed to play similar (not a dig btw, love that fucking game) you can hop in on a new character and beat someone if you are generally a better player then them... I don't think Dale's mastered a single character he's touched in any fighting game at any point lol. Rolento in SF4 is probably the highest skill level he's hit in anything and I've seen his Rolento get dropped off by randoms.
