As an old veteran who’s been playing Street Fighter since the series began, I am loving all of the features that make SF6 so accessible to non-hardcore players. Giving newcomers the tools and tutorials they need to destroy clowns like Dale is just one more pleasant little side effect. :)

This guy should try the tutorials. They tell you how to punish drive impact, and explain that JP is a zoner and you shouldn't walk him into the corner. It's also amazing he couldn't tell that Manon player was actively playing the game. He avoided most of the fireballs, spun through them, parried them, figured out how to open up Dale with lows, and the whole time Dale thought it was "random mashing." The man is too busy watching his own character throw out the same two specials over and over to see what's happening on the screen.

What i notice about dale is that he doesn't utilize any of the new mechanics of the game at all. Has a bunch of drive gauge but does nothing with it but ex. He had this issue in sfv as well. If he didn't have to use v trigger he won't and if he did, he'll spend it all depending on which character he used.

Although I do notice japanese player love spending their drive right out the gate. Dale just seems to be stuck in sf3 era or something and refuse or can't adopt to the new mechanics ever since 4.

One of my favorite Dale special moves is to call out what the opponent is going to do next and be wrong every time. Like, if Dale was sitting next to me while I was playing online and said "he wants to throw you so bad. When they start jumping a lot and they trash at neutral, they want to throw you" I know exactly what's NOT about to happen. "Drive Rush Impact is coming next" that's when the throws come out. I love it. I love it.
