Low water - new river/ nice fish 🎣

In this session I headed out with dean and jonty in hope to catch a salmon off a new river to me, took me a while but managed it ✅.
Then I went for a few casts on the river I’ve been fishing regularly and it didn’t take me long to find a salmon.
Purple whiskers red prawns doing the business again 🦐.

Small spate rivers, decent. Same as my local river, we’v got a few running now, but they ain’t stopping no where, there running right on up.. good fish though, tight lines.

Be up there in a couple of weeks time for the weekend. Fished them both from being a kid. Be there more if it was 100 miles from home. Great to see a few being caught. Where are you on the Calder? Just below monk seat?

Those clear cumbrian rivers look great to fish i would love to spot salmon and watch the take. Cant see a thing on my clubs water its too dark because of peat.
