After many miles in my Lowa Renegade GTX mid I decided to put out a review video! These boots are too good to be getting passed up on, so here is your reason to buy a pair. www.lowaboots....
Not sure if you left already but I use an insole from REI the company is called SOLE I use the performance thick insoles and love them. Have them in my la sportiva nucleo cover about 4-6 miles every day with no foot fatigue. Cant recommend them enough!
I bought their conditioner and waterproofing spray shortly after making this video and they have done me wonders! I’m trying to convince the wife to get a pair and to also let me get the new high top version of the renegades.
@@huntingtheoutdoors I purchased the Lowa leather conditioner before and it’s good stuff. The only knock on Lowa is that the glue on sole deteriorates on the Renegades even if you don’t use them. That happened to my well used pair and my wife’s like new Renegades. Other than that we’ve had good luck with Lowa.
Not anymore hot than the rest of my body was 😂 I was sweating pretty good. And they are not insulated which is nice because they would be so hot. And they aren’t very heavy, just a little over 1 pound per boot.
Here we are Christmas week 2021. Obviously your hunt is over. Was it successful? Anymore thoughts on the Renegades after more miles? Also, it's a little late now but Superfeet or Oboz insoles are the way to go.
It was!!! I posted a (not so good video) taken of the trip. I tagged a 4X3! As far as the boots go, super comfy, never got blisters, and keep my feet dry! For the price point I am recommending the to everyone
+1 on the Superfeet insoles. They have a wide selection for different applications and foot types. I have been using them for 5 years now and wont ise anything else.
I don’t know much about Merrell MOAB. But I’d say for the price point and how well they held up for me in Idaho. That the Lowa Renegade Mid is a great boot!
