I sold my Space helmet (worth 800M) to a lowballer for 723M

for requirements to lowball you basically need to be a human price checker. Knowing the price will make lowballing so much easier. also I personally likes to play safe and also look at cofl prices to see if the item price may fall or not.

Most people don't use lowballing to sell items for their full value though, they just use them when they want to sell stuff fast. I've used lowballers to sell stuff a couple times when I didn't have hours to wait for money. I mean it sucks to lose coins, but that's the reason they exist, if people didn't need them, nobody would be lowballing.

Lowballing is not that good, you basically make 0 progressions in the game just so you can make coins, if you wanna make a lot of coins at least do mining, you still dont progress a lot, but at least youre getting your mining 60, youre getting your powder and youre gonna do all the 50 nucleus runs for xp to get hotm7 if you do choose to do it via nucleus runs(fastest method btw). So youre getting a lot of skyblock xp, more money and more consistent money(I make around 80m/hr with routed dillo with a 655 and no quick claw). As stupid as it sounds, mining is also much more fun than arguing with some 12 year old idiots that have no idea how lowballing works. Regarding all of this, in my opinion the best money making method will always be dungeons or kuudra, sure dungeons in the lower floors like 5-7 makes practically nothing compared to both of these methods, but youre still progressing and wont burn out of mindlessly changing items that you dont even have the requirement for. And whenever youre able to do mm4, 6 or 7 youre going to make even more than both these methods while still progressing in the game.

As a lowballer, they gave pretty nice offer for the warden helm at the start. But the point is that warden helm sells pretty fast, so lowballer not gonna subtract that much coins. They offered you 240m. Which is around 11m flip cuz of the ah tax. Thay were pretty nice.

Uh your warden helmet example was inaccurate. Not sure if this video was recorded before or after the tax changes(you also forgot to include tax entirely). For items over 100m you pay 2.5% tax for listing it, and 2.5% tax for taking it down - 5% tax total. For the warden helmet, it would've been 13m down to tax, giving you 247m profit. This is only 7m above what the lowballers offered you(their profit basically) Considering a decent in-demand item like a warden helmet, it would probably only take a couple hours to sell, less if you're lucky but we can't be sure. Still being conservative, a lot of people are worth more than 7m an hour, and would better put the coins to use elsewhere. I don't lowball myself, but I definitely don't think it's any sort of "scam" or that you "shouldn't" do it. It's a healthy part of our economy. RIP tax changes
