Hey Jon! I'm so excited to visit New York for the third time very soon and just wanted to say I've used your videos to guide me every time, so thank you so much for making all my trips incredible!!! You've led me to amazing food, amazing pizza (Bleecker street am I right?) hidden gems, free things to do, I love your area guides. I've watched your videos so many times, I appreciate everything you do here! Cant wait to finish this video and learn some great new LES spots! Hope you have an amazing day!
Thank you for all your videos! My friend & I are coming back to NYC this summer (our 3rd trip to NYC). We LOVE your videos to get great ideas for things to see/do since regular googling of "Things to do in NYC" just doesn't cut it!
Also check out the Russ & Daughters Cafe just around the corner from the main store. You can sit down at a table and get some cocktails. Waiting on that Sunnyside video! :)
Really well curated video and lots of info to go through to condense it down to 10 places! Really appreciate how well put together this was! So glad you’re using the Internet to inform others! Live this channel!
LES is a great neighborhood. CW Pencil Enterprise is a fun little shop. Was happy to get up to Gallerie Perotin for the JR exhibition a few years ago. And it's free!
Yes! One of my favorite local neighborhoods as well! LES, Greenwich Village, and Chelsea all the way (I don't care how gentrified ppl may think it is!). The video and cinematic quality of your videos are looking really good btw John. Keep it up :)

this is a great review. Most places I never heard about, and I always stays in LES when I’m in NYC. I like the calmness of the presentation, better than those hyped talk to much guys..
To prepare my next trip, I made a google map of NYC with all the restaurants, stores, parks, museums... that I chose. My map is empty in this area, Lower East Side. Curious to watch your video, as always.
Citizen M Hotel is closed to outside visitors unless you are staying at the hotel. We walked there in early June 2023 from Freeman Street and were informed by the hotel no access for non hotel guests post COVID.
Nils Smith Hey i also was planning to come in two weeks, are you concerned about the coronavirus ... i have never been to new york, and people around me are two hysterical to talk to, need some advice?

@@jeahlashelifestyle6816 Honestly, Im not. I don't touch anything and if I do I carry hand sanitizer. You could also bring disposable gloves (which I also carry) Do you plan to go to "cramped" settings? like small bars. I think you would be fine if you just take precautions like every other virus. bring disinfecting wipes if you are staying in a hotel!!
GisylleGlam Thank you for your feedback, i been wanted to visit new york for some years and i finally planned my trip a few months back, i was asking because my parents were concerned about me goin
Used to live off Christie street a block off Houston behind the Whole Foods right there. I liked the area. I was walking distance from Chinatown where I got my dumplings from vanessas, walking distance from little Italy where I had to get farraras bakery almost every day, the crepery, mr purple rooftop bar, and Emilio ballatos (best Italian I ever had). Can’t forget Russ and daughters too...Nice little area Cept for mid October of 2018 a dude got slashed in the face in broad daylight in front my apt.
Laura Spear Hey i also was planning to come in two weeks, are you concerned about the coronavirus ... i have never been to new york, and people around me are two historical to talk to, need some advice?
@@jeahlashelifestyle6816 hi, as long as you have the necessary hand sanitizer ect you will be fine, where are you travelling from? I had to check with my travel insurance provider to make sure that I am covered for extra expenses if they close London. But apart from that have a brilliant time. X
I say don't travel if it's not within the next week because I feel like NY will be the first state to be on lockdown. I'd say by the end of the month to early April that will happen . Also a lot of restaurants will close by then. Right now there are a few restaurants that have closed but mainly the fancy/expensive restaurants so most are still open outside of the Chinese restaurants. I just arrived to NY so I'll see how it is
Found it! You referenced the street art yesterday, on your live stream. It looks really interesting. Stairs though, up as well as down? Or is there a lift??
You should try Russ and sons the sister restaurant to Russ and daughters. A lot of their meats come from the daughters shop. Don’t forget Katz deli is literally right across the street from Russ and daughters.
Hey Jon. We're going to visit new York for the first time this April. Thank you so much for all the videos that you made. It's a big help. Keep it up. God bless bro. Cheers!!😊
Another great video John, filled with great information. I lived on LES for a time and didn’t know about most of this stuff. But I will be taking dates there and pawning all this info as my own. Thanks!
Hours of research? Should've had a 10 min conversation with someone that lives there 40+ years and saved yourself some time. That said... interest is appreciated. Peace be with you.
Hell yeah, my boy barr coming through with the *BANGA* 🤣 not even british but like how they say it. Good job covering all the Boroughs throughout. Can't wait to go in April and take full advantage of these tips
