I actually did not know it was the same theme. When I first played Prime I hadn't gotten that far in Super Metroid, and when I played Super Metroid I didn't remember anything about Prime. Now I played Prime Remastered and was like :O
I remember playing super metroid for the first time and thinking this song was such a bop. Played metroid prime a year or so later, got to magmoor caverns, same thing. This song is an absolute bop. Years after this, i have yet to prove myself wrong here.
People act like this theme has been in like every single Metroid game ever when its only been in three total. Guess that goes to show how impactful it is though
