Lower Part of The Esentai River | Walking Tour 4k 60 fps | Almaty City 2024
The lower part of the Esentai River, also known as the Vesnovka, flows through Almaty, Kazakhstan. The river stretches approximately 43 kilometers, originating from the Small Almaty Gorge and flowing westward. Within the city limits, the river's banks are typically reinforced with concrete, and it is largely covered between Pavlodar and North Ring streets. Further downstream, in the village of Pervomaika, the river splits into various channels used primarily for irrigation before eventually merging with the Karasu-Turksib River and rejoining the Malaya Almatinka River
The Esentai River embankment is a popular walking route in Almaty, offering scenic views and recreational spaces along its 3.8-mile stretch. This easy walking trail, with an elevation gain of 223 feet, provides an accessible outdoor activity for residents and visitors
