Oh man, those new berms are already looking sandy. That trail is going to be a dust bowl. Looks fun though! They should totally install sprinklers in the trees and water that sucker after dark, haha.
I was wandering if you were going to do a segment on the new lower rush trail! I did not get pulled in the only time that I rode it, so I rolled everything. There are some great transitions... you just need to know when they are and how fast to go. I can't wait to ride this a few times. Your GoPro doesn't do some of those jumps justice! Thanks for putting this video out!
I know, they are pretty big. It would be hard to ride blind. But i just waited until a few confident looking riders came up and jumped in line hahahaha.
I finally rode it last night. Fun, at first. Not long after I got on the new section, I went down a dip, got some speed and a jump launched me wierd. I went nose first into a little roller and went over my bars. Landed on my head and shoulder. Should have taken the trail slower and scouted the trail first.
If you want to ride limelight (what i called lower rush), you can start on the dirt road right add you come out of the tunnel at the equestrian park in draper. Just climb the dirt road until you see the sign in your right. If you want to do rush (upper) too, you want to take clarks canyon hollow or Anne's to the top. Then rush down from what we call the corral (look at trailforks).
@@RideLabs Ripmo with 2.6 Forekaster front 2.6 Rekon rear. The other day the rear tire slid out on me while coming down Ghost Falls. I'll experiment with pressures a little bit, but I might need to try a Forecaster in the back too. Going with these lighter tires over the stock setup (2.5 DHF/Aggressor) livened the bike up quite a bit.
Thanks man, yea, they aren't for everyone. . They are kinda like the Levitate size of jumps. I am so glad they are adding trails like this to CC. Mixing it up is good. Now we need some chunky trails.
