I’ve listened to this song constantly since I was 20 years old. I was introduced to this band because I was a roadie for Asking Alexandria in 2011 for their “Reckless and Relentless” tour. And LTA was the opening band. I would sit side stage and watch them every single night. They were absolutely my favorite band on that tour. But, because they weren’t “heavy” enough, they would sometimes get booed by 15 year old scene kids who wanted to mosh. It made me so angry. And Mike, LTA’s singer would take it kind of hard. I think he was going through a tough time around then. But I’d chat with him every day and just tell him how much I loved his band, and I’ve been such a big fan ever since. They are seriously the coolest, nicest, most down to earth/humble people you could meet. This video, seeing thousands of people sing this song, years later, after my experience, makes so incredibly happy and gives me chills. I can just see in Mikes eyes in this, how much it means to him. 🤙🏼
I saw LTA around the same era opening for another ill fitted Metalcore package. I bumped into Mike in the venue later and he seemed surprised and almost taken aback by my "hey man great set, love your band!" comment, lol. I'm glad they eventually got away from that scene and playing to more receptive audiences.
