@@zaky267 😂 this misconception is very common but its completely false. People thinks of woman as some chaste innocent souls but thats not it . Iam a woman and believe me there is lust in every human being. U r walking down the street and suddenly u see someone attractive and then u have a constant urge to look so thats very common among us. I hope Allah helps us to control our nafs and pass us in this test. Inshallah.

When I was little I use to lower my gaze all the time no matter where I am. I never knew in Muslim culture you have to lower your gaze. It just became a habit of mine and such and I still do it to this day.

Brother, I want to give you some advise. Don't go extreme when I say extreme I don't mean terrorist. I mean don't pray to much. Pray just the obligitary ones. And when u feel like those are easy. They slowly start with the sunnah. Trust me I did the same. May Allah forgive us and raise our status

@@younesel-kachtaoui642 Let him pray extra. Rather, just say take it easy with nawafil. But as for the faraidh yes they extend to more than salah as he said. He did say emulate the prophet to the best of one's ability. This does require some hardship and stopping the nafs.

He said that nowadays most women are educated to be desired so that man would look at her and that a woman would be irritated if men don't. Let me tell you the truth, in all countries everywhere, no matter what your religion is, women don't want men to look at them. If they spent 30 minutes looking at the mirror is for them, to look presentable and beautiful (not necessarily to attract men). Most women complain about catcalling and harassment, so how would a woman be irritated if a men doesn't look at her. Nowadays women think men are dangerous, we put keys between our knuckles just in case, we change streets when we see boys siting all together taking almost all the spaces there is... Women are not as materialistic that he implies. Muslim or non-mulim women alike. (I am talking about everyday women, not the ones you see on social media or on billboards)

i am sorry, i can't take that story seriously, is so unrealistic, women feel very uncomfortable at being started at, specially in closed spaces. if i was alone in an elevator with an unkown guy( or girl), i would be avoiding to look at him because i would want to avoid akward conversation witha stranger, so i wouldn't care he is looking somewhere else, in fact i would be glad, can think of anything that would make me more uneasy that some ramdon stranger staring at me in a closed elevator, if that happened my first instict would be probably to get out of the elevator as soon as possible or clench my keys in case i need to use them as defense. i remember when i had to use the public transport before gegting my car, and i would go in the last train at night back home, in an empty compartiment in which there was only another guy, and i swear if he was staring at me i would change compartiment as quickly as possible and look for a place with more people. and if he was avoiding looking at me i would deffinetly would not start to ask him why and asking for his number would be the last thing i would do, i would never exchange contact information with someone who is a complete stranger and is not even an aquatience of friends or that i met in a safe envioroment so easily. and i can assure you all my female friends and like 99% of the female populatioms thinks like that ( i don't say 100%because there is always some weird people out there), so that " true story" is the most absurd and unrealistic story i've ever heard, no woman in their right mind would would be angry that he didn't stare at her , she would be relived.
