I have another brand of heated vest I got for a gift. I have really enjoyed it this past winter. I had emergency surgery a few days ago and needed a heating pad. Used the vest worked great Could move if needed it went with me where I needed to go. Much better than a heating pad

Okay, Larry, you sold me! My husband has a heart condition and gets cold working in his home office, and especially when doing outdoor chores. I snagged one of these vests as a Christmas gift. I think he’ll love it, thanks!

Larry, I appreciate you doing this review so much. I live in Oregon, but my little brother lives over in Hanover. I'm always concerned about him staying warm in these especially harsh winters Illinois gets in comparison to Oregon.

Thank you. Love the concept. I would not only wear the vest outside, but would keep the home a bit cooler and wear it in the home; might wear in the office depending on dress code that day. Nice you have them to enjoy; update us in the future on how you like them.

What electronic safety procedures are in place for preventing the lithium batteries from catching on fire? Does it say where the batteries and chargers were made and if they are UL tested?

My husband and I like a cold bedroom but we warm the foot of our bed with a heating pad before bedtime so when we get in bed our feet are toasty warm and it's easier to fall asleep with warm feet.

I own Ororo products and love them. However, they do cost more than one year of monthly fees at the cheaper gyms around here. I really want to get the mittens since I have Reynauds but they are just too pricy right now.

I live in Switzerland and just like all other European countries last winter our government recommended to lower our energy use (gas, electricity) because of the rising prices due to the war in Ukraine. I did so but then I had a very specific problem: I live in a modern building with good isolation. This winter I lowered the temperature in the apt. from 20°C to 18°C. What happened next is that everywhere around the windows there was so much condensed water and mold built up. We would keep cleaning it, opening the windows acording to government recommendations (3x a day for 5-7 minutes) but it wouldn't stop. We then had to put it back to 20°C and the mold disappeared. It seems that warm air can keep more moisture and therefore it doesn't cobdensate as much... which would lead to mold.

So sorry you had this experience, Leila.

Hi Larry. Could u please tell me if the battery pack in the vest feels a little heavy + almost pulls down one side of the vest? I'm in Australia and have a heated hoodie but the battery pack which sits in an internal pocket makes me feel lopsided!! Mine too lasts about 4hrs outside on high
@larryware1
@larryware1 Год назад
The battery is fine - no pulling. It sits nicely in its zippered pouch.

And you save money how?......the thing cost money.....it cost money to charge.....
@larryware1
@larryware1 Год назад
By keeping the thermostat down to 63 degrees we save on utilities. The furnace is not running nearly as much. We've had much lower heating costs as a result. Plus, I'm able to get outside during the colder temperatures and enjoy some much needed exercise - health benefits.
