Just had a chat with Mark from Imported Auto Wreckers down here in Melbourne about lowering my 79 camper conversion. I'm in the process of putting it all back together after a disassemble and respray. He said, leave off on adjusting the backs until any trimming and interior work is complete - as the back end will drop under the weight of the seats/bed, cabinets/fridge and all the bits and pieces that go in there. If you do it before the van's bum will end up being lower than the front once you're done.
Some good projects coming up Daz, if you can get the parts! Liking the look of the van makes a difference lowering it a tad, really does. be nice when it's panted! Ho... In the UK we call it a shifter as well... Cresent wrench... 😂
