I am doing a resto mod on my 85 short bed. I drove it my senior year in 2001 after my Grandpa and I rebuilt the 300. The trans went out and it sat for 20 years behind my Dads barn. It was my Dads truck and it has the cab off my Grandpas 81 f100 ranger. The original cab caught fire in 96. Thanks for sharing man, definitely motivation for me. I plan to do the same drop on mine and yours sits just how I pictured mine.
Beautiful truck man love those bull nose that the missing link in my collection so far I got a dent side 78 and a brick nose 88 I plan on doing some content with both of them soon
Great job, These Bull and Brick Nose Fords are a hot build here in Central Florida because they are the last of the cheap/affordable Classic trucks. I've never been a Ford guy but I just bought a 84 F-150 302 with an auto trans because I need a truck once in awhile and I picked it up for $1400 and drove it home, Yeah it has some body issues but I repeat.... I paid $1400 for it and drove it home.
hey man, just found you when i was thinkin of lowerin my own bullnose, love your style man.. teachin the next gen, and what youg got goin on w your ford! cheers.. ps any update on the alignment? couild they get r back inline?
I have a black 86 just like that one but the bed was all full of bondo so i made it a stepside looks super cool needs a rebuild on the 302 now but overall a great cool truck
That's awesome you're involving your kids. Start em young and keep em interested. Question for you. How wide are those wheels? I have some 10" wide 15" rims I wanted to use,but I'm not sure if they will rub.
Hell yeah I got a 82 with 6inline motor original and I'm doing this as well Where could I purchase those kind of wheels can't seem to know the bolt pattern isnit 5x5.5?
Very nice! Love how it looks now! Did you have to get new alignment bushings? I can't believe the front dropped down so nicely! You mentioned you ended up getting drop shackles too, do you have the link to those?
@@FloridaCrackerKustoms that’d be nice to see! Looking forward to it. I’m guessing you had to get the high degree correction bushings. I had to when I lifted my F250. I’m thinking of dropping my 87 Bronco like you have with yours though 💪 thanks for the link too man!
I’ve had no issues, there’s still plenty of room between the frame & axle. If you were trying to haul bags of cement & lumber then you might hit the bump stops but my truck is just to a toy not a work truck anymore.
