The clearance rack at my Lowes in zone 6b in Massachusetts is GROWING!! The had a large number of perrenials on clearance, such as clmatis, lilies, daisies, salvia, and speedwell/veronica, and columbine. Also, so many annuals like petunias, calabrachoa, and geraniums! This is the time to buy! Also, there is a special value sale on select shrub roses at 50% off! Lots of Proven Winners and Monrovia Plants as well on the clearance rack. There were gorgeous varieties of Monrovia Clamatis that still looked to be in great shape for 50% off!
While each store will have a different selection of clearance plants, I wanted you too see that there are great deals to be had on perrenials if you are just starting a new garden, or wanting to add to your existing garden. Who doesn't like to save a little money?!
Perrenials are a great investment if your starting new gardens. You plant them once, and if they like their growing conditions, they return and bloom for you year after year! Many of these clearance plants just need some TLC and are waiting to be beautiful for you in your garden. Some cleaning up of old foliage, a cut back, some watering, and maybe even a small dose of fertilizer and they are good as new! Hope your able to find some great deals at your local clearance rack!
