It was a dark dark day 😭 I drove past 2 days after the fire was put out and it was harrowing .... the people of grenfell are forever in the uk populations hearts ..... the dead are immortal the only ghosts are us .... #justiceforgrenfell

Been following Lowkey since I first heard and saw the video to the track 'Terrorist'. Thats one extremely intelligent and clued up guy. Makes me feel proud that we have this talent here in the UK. Blessed by Lowkey. An amazing human being in my eyes. So glad I found him. They banned him from Westminister too.

The building was covered in flammable cladding on the request of the rich people of Kensington and Chelsea they said it was an eye sore. They knew it was flammable but it was cheaper. Time to eat the rich

Side note. The cladding that was the "tinder box" for the fire contained flamable materiels to the equivalent of something near 30,000 gallons of gasoline. I was at a lowkey performance where he was spittin fact about all this building

These people still need justice and accommodation!!! The people in the video are all survivors of grenfell. The rasta doing alot of the explaining was also a survivor and the main spokesman on behalf of everyone else ❤️

Sahoor means time before the morning prayer during the month of ramadan when muslims wake up to eat something before day of fasting. This happened during the Ramadan and as long as i recall muslim community were the first to see and report the fire. Thats why i guess they use this word there.

You are correct, that is grenfell tower. They cut corners bad isolation, bad fire system etc so the trial is still on and NO one has been convicted to this Day, however everybody knows the truth, the building went up in flames to fast, r.i p to all of them,

A big thing is also that there was a group of people living there that were begging the council (local government) to change the cladding because it was dangerous. They even said it will take a catastrophe for people in power to pay attention. And they were wrong because the bastards still don't care. It's the poor people that suffered, it's the poor people still living in fear. So the government isn't doing anything about it.

Hey Doc, gotta say seeing your reaction to this track was interesting, i have watched quite a few of your reactions and props for your honesty. The lyrix that jumps out most is the ghosts of grenfell are calling for justice now hear em scream. That said i recently drove over that overpass next to grenfell and it is untouched, still wrapped in plastic like a charred tombstone just minutes away from the super rich. Kowkey still helping to push for justice. Many still without permanent homes. One love bro

Still no1 has been held accountable. The building had cladding on it so it looked nice for the rice people in the area. They dont care about us working class people. Thays why we dont care for them.

Don't perpetuate the cycle. That will just lead to you not caring about someone when you have no idea who they are or what they might care about. And then they'll say, see they don't care about us so we don't care about them. And then it just goes on and on. All I'm saying is don't put anyone or yourself into a box. R.I.P. to the 72 people who lost their lives in the Grenfell Tower fire!! So sad & I didn't even know about it until watching this video! Such a terrible but avoidable tragedy! As for my favorite line..the whole song & meaning behind it was powerful. Thanks for sharing.

Basically they had put tones of things on Grenfell to make it look nice witch was really flammable this wasn’t on the other buildings (they are flats ) since the fire started on the 4th floor there bottom 3 floors survived also the reason that leap,e went to the top is that they thought the helicopters would save them but didn’t . People were so outraged because there was another fire in a different buildIng that didn’t sped and everybody survive.

Basically yes you are correct, they clad the whole building in a material that was highly flammable to make the building look more attractive for the rich inhabitants of the area. This is a neighbourhood where some of the poorest people live alongside some of the richest people in the country. Some properties in the area sell for upwards of £30 Million....this cladding had been shown to be unsuitable for tall buildings but they still used it.

The government knows that this same cladding is on hundreds of buildings (apartments, schools, libraries, hospitals) and has been seen to do very little to nothing to rectify it. Also the company that made the cladding has just said in a recent inquiry that they will only disclose all the details about what they know as long as the information can lead to convicting them.

Somebody please correct me if I am wrong at any point) Grenfell Tower was a 23 story apartment building in West London. June 2017 the fire started before 1am in a kitchen on the 4th floor and the building literally went up like a candle. 223 people escaped, more than 70 injured and 72 people died. The building had cladding which was put on to make the building look more ‘pretty’ and not so much of an eye sore for its rich residents of Kensington and Chelsea. The cladding was not suitable for tall buildings and was highly flammable. They used this as it was cheaper. To this day nobody has been made accountable.
