I thought they would make another run until I saw they got underseeded and had to play illinois, but they surprised everyone and got that upset. They have a pretty clear path to the final four again and I like their championship odds

Loyola Chicago had been occasionally making the NCAA Tournament including 2022. Even after Porter Moser left the program for Oklahoma.

I’ve never seen a more hype crowd than Loyalas. They were jumping up and down from the beginning. So awesome. On top of that, Sister Jean was their motive. She’s awesome too.

A very special team , focused ,determined, intelligent, complimentary of one another , with a great facilitator in krutwig who brought them back with a mostly different cast later ( except for lance williamson ) porter moser had the formula for developing great chemistry. Krutwig was the hub around which the spokes and wheel turned.

Anyone else watching this to get a depressing reminder of what March Madness used to look like? I so desperately hope we go back to this next year. Full stands, people right behind the non socially distanced players, no masks, baselines full of photographers and cheerleaders. That's what it's supposed to look like and I kind of miss it.
