Why couldn't they at least make him a rage mode character, like at least more of a counterpart to piccolo's giant form. Sure we wouldn't be the happiest but if Beast was somewhat a playable unit and was the best or second best active in the game, I think we'd be relatively happy.
I was thinking beast at the bare minimum be a costume change after you use the active with a like a 20% boost to atk and defense and gaurd for the rest of the fight.
yeah not gunna lie, didn't even think of a rage mode. Makes sense honestly cause it's his "beast mode". Would have let us see beast gohan better and he honestly would have been a better character.
A rage mode would have been a much better compromise, because then it would operate the same as Giant Orange Piccolo. ....See, you put more thought into it than the devs did...
"Beast Gohan doesn't have enough source material" 1: Make Beast a rage mode like Orange 2. Make *The Kick* the 12 ki 3. Make Makankosappo the 18 ki Seems like enough source material to me.
The more i look the more i feel like something behind the scenes happened like why does he have a separate dokkan event even though Ultimate Gohan already has one
Eh, dokkan events are weird. You either have something like Kid Goku with 2 separate dokkan events or something like Blue Vegeta from the Goku Black arc and Blue Evolved Vegeta from TOP with the same dokkan event.
This gohan is actually very effective for the broly fight and I find it works perfectly fine to just link him with teq god goku since he provides orbs and he can get links from whoever is floating. Just got a casual no item run even with broly using the aoe because gohan nullified. The same also applies to omega but that fight isn’t nearly as challenging
no fr. I hate what they did to gohan and there being no beast transformation but that doesn’t take away from him still being a good unit. I personally like him better than cooler cause with cooler sometimes i feel scared with his defense at the start of events which i don’t with gohan cause of guard and also near the end of events If i get supered with cooler i’m basically dead but it is nice knowing i at least have a chance sometimes with gohan and his nullification which i legit just got today against aoe broly
@@SnipingIsAGoodJobMate gamma 1 debatably, but definitely not gamma 2. Gohan is just gamma 2 with higher defensive stats, higher offensive stats, an active skill, a better lead, linkset, etc.
I wonder, if they made one single change to Gohan, what if when he used his active skill he got 50% damage reduction for 5 turns. I feel like that would be a really interesting and fun way to give him more power. That way he could really tank and he would still do a ton of damage
Honestly a main problem I have with this govan is his Ki. Sure he gets an extra Ki per orb but his link set is so awful it almost seems like they were trying to make him a TUR
Or..... mabye... it was a transformation where he becomes beast gohan after the active skill, gets an additional 6 ki start of turn and had guard for the rest of battle, so it actually feels like the real deal.

I’ve never been able to beat this stage but with piccolo and gohan on my team it was cake piccolo is so good this midhan just floated and I got lucky with the attacks
I mean his main issue is just ki really. Defensively he can be sitting at like 900k+ after super attack. Not good enough to eat big supers but good enough otherwise. I think if they gave him a scouter and more ki he’d be the best in the game. The scouter would allow you to not eat super attacks.
I like this unit way more on any team except his own which is disappointing. Seriously I’ve used his team like 20 times and have had like 17 of those runs have both in turn 1 which is actually the worst possible situation.
Feel people are overlooking pairing Gohan with AGL UI Goku in stages where dodging is an option. UI shares 4 links including Gohan's ki link and UI doesnt care about ki since his role is just to dodge and nothing else
If he just had Orange Piccolos or the EZA LR SSJ4s ki mechanic instead of that archaic '+1 ki per ki sphere obtained' bs then he would be SIGNIFICANTLY better despite the wonky linkset.

Bc I want to see Truth actually acknowledge Beast Gohans defense fully built up Start of Turn and what he can n would be at with 110% from Triple Super, Its actually not bad all in all with 50% Chance to nullify Ki Blasts vs any enemy in game...
@bing chilling not really lr trunks and vegeta, lr cooler, lr piccolo, lr birdku, gamma 1 are all better than him. That's already 5 characters above him and then there is gamma 2, kid goku, str lr carnival goku who are all probaly better than gohan. Gohan is a strong top 10-15 unit but he definitely not good enough to be top 5.
YOO did anyone of ya"ll noticed Gohan's slanted fingers? When he charges the special beam canon you can see that Gohan's fingers are curved towards left. Isn't his fingers supposed to be straight? 7:38 - 7:41 is the time stamp if you are wondering.
It feels like they went out of their way to make gohan not as good. He should’ve had unconditional guard after doing five supers. He should get ki for each super how truth said and he should’ve had saiyan lineage instead of infighter. Ever since teq gohan it feels like every hybrid release has had it except for beast gohan and prepare for battle for saiyan warrior race let’s be honest he’s still gonna be hitting like a beast
Don’t know why but both Piccolo and Gohan does hit extremely hard. In red zone Gohan has been doing 15-20 million dmg in his ultra special and additional were 15 million
I noticed that you havnt said anything about his 12ki greatly raising atk It’s worded different his 18 ki says greatly raises atk and def for 1 turn But his 12 ki says greatly raises atk and raises def for 1 turn. I think that wording means his 12 ki is a limitless atk raiser
I think I like the 7 years better more so the gods more, monkeys are in a bad position as now Charater the links up well with them and is a defense slot 1 Character, the gods have almost no weakness outside of needing to sta k and be in slot 2, lr trunks and vegeta and lr birdku fulfill the slot 1 role and links up very well with them, the gods have no ki issues as its a better ki mechanic than gohan and have prepared for battle, once Transformed its so much easier getting there additional super attack and they have a chance to dodge while it cab expentionatly increase with rainbow orbs, gohan peak would hit a lot harder but on average you get none of his ki passive as he struggles for ki, one you could say kid goku exists but kid goku needs those orbs in order to be tanks and Leaving a few orbs left which will not be enough for gohan on average, gohan is a good character that makes the teams the you want to run him on worse.
Guys i just finished to watch super hero and litterally the only thing gohan does in the entire movie is makankosappo nothing else so probably they didnt have any other animations to give him
I will say on every video he needed more ki and guaranteed super the way the rest of his kit is built. He’s 7th anniversary without the guaranteed abilities they get

@@thickmanwithathickplan768 yea, after the anniversary I summoned at least 6k stones into coolers banner and didn’t pull him, and every other banner “worth summoning on” and nothing lol pretty brutal, all my luck went into the anniversary

Having used piccolo he seems like a better version of agl dfe goku and vegeta in that he’s a completely different unit when that last part of his passive is up
Even without that part of Piccolo's passive active, he dunks on LR SuperBros regardless 😭 And unlike the SuperBros, it's a NECESSITY that they get it off. Piccolo doesn't *need* that part of his passive active but if he gets it, no other character in the game can match him.
Hybrids leader was my hope and i got it... Amazing celebration... Also hes much better than ppl are saiyng, ppl just salty becouse they wanted beast and they Gave us ultimate... Obviously they wouldnt release beast 1 month before jp Anny but ppl dont use theyr brain most of the Times...

Ok for one this isn’t beast gohan it’s ultimate gohan and I’m lost on he have out performed the whole team with additional and a text that at 15 million and he a copy of cooler and some how he is bad I’m lost
I think Gohan will have that niche in those types of fights where the boss supers are ki-type. I don't mind having niches and I do think Gohan is better than what people have made him out to be and I personally have a lot of fun using him. However, of course I do think the devs held back on this Gohan card generally. He should have had the damage reduction passive Piccolo had, Saiyan lineage link, and attack stacking. Those 3 things would have made Gohan a lot more safer to use in more situations. For the wow factor, they min. should have made his Beast mode a "rage" active like Janemba, but on the level of Orange Piccolo. I think people would have been happy with that. Like just imagine 2 to 3 turns of up to a hypothetical 27 supers uninterrupted as Beast.

I almost feel like giving him and gigalo their 12 ki instead of their 18 since it’s so hard to get them the 24 ki and if I don’t they basically never get that additional for some reason :(
10:00 yeah, i do think vegeta abd trunks is number 1. They literally have a million defense before super with guard. How are they weaker than piccolo 800k defense with 20% damage reduction.
It’s the giant form. Up to 3 turns consisting of up to 9 supers with full invincibility each turn is absurd (even more so if you have a piccolo friend lead to do it twice), and that’s on a unit that can already hold his own in his base form.
@bing chilling piccolo active skill healing might be a bug. piccolo’s active skill is definitely stronger at this point as it heals. tbh, if piccolo dr condition is 50% that would be way better and i would say hes number 1
@bing chilling and after piccolo intro buff is off, he has only 670k defense linking with str piccolo, 540k defense with fierce battle only. I say vegeta and trunks work better with the top units rn. (I tried him in private server)
It's no where even remotely near 1 million defence? Litteraly the only people that even have vegeta and trunks anywhere close to the top 3 litterally don't even know how they work.
I am actually really sad about this beast Gohan release. For MONTHS I’ve been waiting for him in Dokkan and for MONTHS we all believed he would be the best unit in the game and they DEFINITELY hinted at it. The gammas were BEYOND BUSTED, Cell Max was INSANELY HARD, plus with how busted EVERY MAJOR UNIT RELEASED THIS YEAR HAS BEEN, we all believed he would be EASILY NUMBER ONE. And it’s so sad seeing not only that he isn’t number one but how clearly AWFUL HE IS AS A CHARACTER AND HOW AWFUL HIS KIT IS. I’ve been playing now for like 3 years and this is EASILY THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT I have experienced with the game. Bandai, Dokkan, NEVER DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS AGAIN

he's more than usable, he's good, but a premium hyped unit shouldn't be just good, they should be "woahh!! balls blown off!!! He just shredded cell max in 1 turn!!" and not just "eh, he's pretty good"
