I first heard this song by Savoy Brown in 1971. At 18, I related to Dave Walker's version and when I heard Howlin Wolf's version shortly after, it seemed slow and pedantic. Many of my friends who were introduced to blues by the British invasion felt the same. It wasn't till I heard Koko's version that I realized how good the blues could be ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qyUHkY0K8HE.html
From left to right. Deanna Bogart (A GREAT KEYBOARD PLAYER WHO ALSO PLAYS SAX), Samantha Fish, Susan Tedeschi, Ruthie Foster, Samantha Banks (Ruthie's drummer), SISTA MONICA PARKER!!, Danielle Schnebelen, Tanya Richardson (Ruthie's bass player and Ana Popovic. I have lots of other videos of ALL of these artists(except Sista Monica who we WILL see again) Unfortuanely, both Sista Monica and Samantha Banks have since passed.

fully agreed, Koko lived this world, how dangerous is it to be passionate in a world so wide with wonders unseen.. thank you rd350c, I'll be on the lookout for your work here, and I buy a lot of CDs because you show me many I have missed. Be well, keep it lit, raise hell so high we have to jump to reach it... hah!
