It's just a loopee drop shot knot. There's loads of videos on how to tie them. I like around 3cm for most fishing. Just enough for the to eat the hook but not enough to throat it
Nice one Dan. Mad that you need your imax in bloody august haha. Meant to get nicer from Wed so I’m working my ass off to free up some time. I’ve been down here climbing loads over the years really excited to fish there we should meet up. Don
Thanks Dan another great video of a great session. I have to ask, were you taking a bit of a risk on the slippy stuff, after your steps escapade in Plymouth?
You're welcome Alan. This was the first "dodgy" session and I was soon aware how much my confidence has been knocked since the back thing. Ever single step on the weed made me stop. The paranoia of a slip is through the roof. So no risks were taken. Overly cautious I'd say. Don't think I'll be the same again
Another comment on the DS rig 😊.... do you thread the hook on before doing the loop knot or do you simply 'larks foot' the hook on to the loop after its formed?? Ps great vid again!!! 👍
Sorry was working. Its a simple drop shot knot. Like in this video. I only do three turns though. You can decide how long the snood is by hiw much you leave sticking out when you tighten the knot. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tpdqZJ8iMVs.html
Mega session!! Cant hardly wait - leaving for the SW Cornwall early Saturday with most of my kit - for a fortnight. Hoping for some nice bass and pollack on the lures but also want to pursue the littler species on LRF. What is your opinion on BFS fishing? I just bought reel and rod from China but wont get them till I'm back. So many fish - so little time... lol
Thanks. Good luck down in Cornwall. Fish small and you catch everything for sure. Whereabouts are you going? Never even looked into BFS if I'm honest so don't know a thing about it.
Thanks. I've been making videos since 2020 on my other channel Fishing Around Budleigh. I started this one in December to separate LRF from the other types I do.
@@LRFandHRF sadly we didnt have time, but i saw your video and im gonna go back one day because it looked like a blast. Unfortunately Lincolnshire isnt exactly renowned for its sea fishing, so its gonna be a while before i can try again
