He's an old-school Brummie. Generally very modest, and often considered the friendliest people in the UK. That doesn't mean he doesn't think he's more than competent. He just believes, if he can do it, there are probably (rather than possibly) others doing it or capable of doing it, too. He seems to just want customers to give him the time to do the job properly and get everything right rather than push him time-wise and he's happy, even if he doesn't end up getting full compensation for all the hours he puts in. He clearly loves what he does and doing it right. But he's done so many conversions that he also clearly beieves that pretty much everything is possible and problems exist for solutions to be found. It is amazing.

Most noise goes out the exhaust. That 4 cam 6 was probably at least as mechanically noisy.

Noel Medina The ls4 is fwd and mounted transversely. This engine is mounted longitudinally with an adapter plate to a porsche transaxle.

Yep, he's just using the front accessories off it.

He said he used parts from the front wheel drive LS on the LS3.

It's an LS3, but he chose to dress the front of the motor with parts off the transverse LS4 (plumbing & pulleys) to make the entire engine 2-inches shorter. That combined with moving the firewall forward 2-inches allowed it all to fit without moving the transaxle.

Massive flaw ??? Fill me in.

@@jamesmarshall3311 Gen 1 (so up to 2008) 987 engines in 3.4 guise can have bore scoring and IMS issues.
