I see what you're saying but there was still a ton of pressure on him. This is to go to the world series finals. He still had to hit it and hard enough to where it wasn't an easy play for the infielders. No clue why they pitched to him though.

My uncle Mike Fontana pitched for long beach then, he's told me about this game but I've never seen it, damn wish they would of pulled it out

LSU bb fan forever but I miss the ole Dirtbags not being in the Series. Love the program history, story of stadium. Pretty cool. Tough loss...but Todd Walker? He'd hit 3 for 4, two seasons at .400. I dunno.
