LSU Football | How big of a THREAT are Texas and Oklahoma to Brian Kelly and LSU in the SEC?

Yep, SEC has always paved an easier path for the conference’s best teams in order for said teams to stay healthy and do well in the post season. Oklahoma was the darling of the Big12, and they always got the easier schedule compared to Texas. Now the SEC gave them one of the toughest conference schedules they’ve ever had 😂 Oklahoma also always had bottom tier opponents for the first 4-5 games leading up to the Texas game in Dallas, giving Oklahoma the first half of the season to prepare and game plan for Texas. Now they have to worry about Houston, Auburn, and Tennessee before even playing Texas.

Actually, UT isn’t following a&m. The Sec has always wanted UT for decades but our admin. at the time wasn’t feeling it. As a matter of fact Mike Slive approached UT in 09 about joining the sec. Truth is a&m can’t give the sec access to the great state of Texas; only UT can do that. That’s the very reason media days will be held in Dallas. They never did that in the 12yrs. a&m has been in the conference or never before for that matter. LHN could’ve been better but I liked it because it was all access on UT all the time. Remember, coach Schloss has been coaching a&m for 3 seasons so I don’t know where you got that 5-6yrs stuff from. Their ex-coach left because aggies do aggie things. You’re really tripping or have a bad view if you think a&m is in UT’s head. You said correct yourself they have won nothing, so how could that be? As far as schedule, how is it ridiculously easy? UTenn plays the exact same conference foes as us save bama. Our ooc games or a bit tougher than theirs as well. I hear no one say their schedule is easy. Ole Miss gets truly challenged once in their first 7 games. We get challenged 3 times in our first seven but I hear no one say Ole Miss’s schedule is easy. I don’t think anyone has a easy schedule because wouldn’t that negate the sec being a tough conference? Only UF has a really tough schedule that stands out from the rest.

Doesn’t matter about recruiting, Texas has done better but can’t get past the Sooners. All Texas does is turn their eye to the “directors cup trophy” because they have been mediocre for 14 years. None of y’all Texas fans go to swim meets or track meets but want to “claim” those like they really mean something to you when you couldn’t name one athlete outside a top 3 sport. Texas has had 3 straight top 5 recruiting classes the last 3 cycles top 3 in 22. Texas will finish top 5 in 26 more than likely, they get who they want In most cases, Colin Simmons, Dakorien Moore thru Took from LSU Texas recruits on an elite level go look it up

@@mimixownzall how many championships has your team won? Texas, in the same period, won the National Championship, went to another, and made it to a playoff game. That is in the top 5 percent of all schools that have accomplished, but hey, some guy named mimi on RU-vid knows better, so who does it matter?
