I'm an Oregon fan and I was watching a LSU game earlier this year and that team looks Big physical and faster WR then most teams have and that QB is huge .
Everybody acts like LSU is the only team to have close games. UGA beat Kentucky by ONE point lol Bama should have lost AT HOME to the gamecocks. So it’s okay to have close games when you find a way to grit it out and win. The tigers are getting better. Even if they lose to TAMU they’re still ascending
Correct, and TAMU is getting better every day with Elko’s philosophy. Look at the lines. It will be a good one for sure. I think Aggies will win with those front lines.
LSU has been a different team every game this year, but are getting better with experience, especially with the freshmen. Extrapolating from USC or South Carolina does not define them now.
If 2023 LSU was in the ACC like Miami is instead of the SEC they would have been undefeated in the regular season easy outside of the FSU game, but all us LSU fans know that the first game of a season doesn't count.
It's funny how much better the defense has gotten sans Perkins. Almost like everyone believed the hype and tried to fit a square peg into a round hole.
How is LSU a wildcard? They are ranked 8 nationally, are peaking, and will probably at least play in the conf champ game, and possibly win it. Barring some critical injury they will very likely be in the CFP. Who, other than *maybe* UGA and Oregon would they not be expected to be fully competitive against?
This team isnt perfect and weve had a little help from the refs here and there. But when things are clicking, were right up there with all the playoff teams. Geaux tigers!
I want a rematch, Josh. We'll have more sacks on that LSU line than anyone else. And get us a proper officiating crew so when Nuss tosses a pick six he can't be bailed out!
Being completely objective, I don’t know if SC could beat this LSU team. The one they played they could’ve and should’ve beaten, but they developed a whole lot between now and then.
They "should" have lost to Ole Miss too. That's what good teams do though, find ways to win games they shouldn't. How many picked Arkansas to beat LSU? Loads. It couldn't have been a better spot for the hogs. Coming off a huge win vs Tennessee with a bye week to prepare. Meanwhile LSU coming off an emotional OT win vs a highly ranked (favored) rival. Yet LSU took care of business.
@michaelkirshner3099 right. Even before LSU beat Bama Pate was high on them. Meanwhile most of the media were picking Clemson or Ohio State to win the natty up until the game. Football fans have goldfish memories lmao
