Better than losing to a 8-6 cal team who was terrible that year. Plus usc didn’t have to take a chance of losing cause they didn’t have a conference title game like OU did. If OU had the same arrangement USC did they wouldn’t have played K state in a title game.

@@TheOpinionSports They lost on the road in 3 OTs when Cal had Rodgers. OU got pummeled 35-7. They didn't deserve to be in that game period.

@@TruthDissident Yea OU lost but that was in an extra game that USC never played. Kansas st was a good team. Cal sucked. Plus Kansas st beat Cal that year. USC loss was worse because they lost to a bad team who was 2-3 before they played USC. Plus USC didn’t play that extra game which is a conference game.

Your trying to rationalize a team who didn’t play in a conference title game to be in the game. That’s why LSU jumped them the last week cause LSU played that extra game.

You beat a team 21-14 against an opponent who had a hobbled qb that probably shouldn't have been on the field. A game any tighter than that you ain't walking away with the trophy bud...I could also say against a healthy Jason White u ain't walking away with the trophy.

FSU getting in over Miami is not as ridiculous as the other 2 since Washington beat Miami in 2000 and ended the season with 1 loss as well. But 2001 and 2003? Just no excuse. Oregon and USC belonged in those games.

@@phillipmain9144 Both teams turned it over twice that game. But Florida had over a hundred more total yards and won by double digits which is exactly what should of happened. Florida was simply the more talented and better coached team.

USC didn’t belong either losing to a bad Cal team plus OU had to play an extra game usc didn’t have to play which was a conference title game. It’s not fair for usc to benefit off others taking a chance playing an extra game and if they lose usc benefits.

Saints should trade to #2 to pick up Jayden. They won't ever be anything again without a QB. Time and time again the NFL proves that. No defensive pick or OL or WR will move the needle to being in an NFC champ. Need a QB and need it now.

@@phillipmain9144 OU should have been banned from BCS games for a few years after the LSU and USC performances. LSU held this supposedly insanely high scoring offense to 154 total yards. The severely overrated Jason White finished the game completing only 13 of his 37 passing attempts for just 102 yards. He was also sacked seven times and intercepted twice. The game wasn't nearly as close as the score says. OU looked super exposed and made the Big 12 look very weak. It was even worse the following year against USC.
