One of the announcers said he just does it without thinking but I think that's an unintentional slight. Perkins is scary intelligent when it comes down to stalking the ball carrier. His speed is mentioned but the waiting to act went unnoticed.

Bryce young has been the best QB in the country at making people miss and buying himself time in the pocket. Perkins made him look like a fool. Just an absolute beast of a player.
I went from not knowing anything about him to saying he is a lock for a top 5 pick in 2025 strictly based on that Arkansas game. First time I ever saw him and he looks special. The fluidity of his movement and his closing speed... He doesn't have to get any better. He just needs to not have any drop off from his play as a true freshmen and he's a lock as a top 5 pick.

Exactly what I was thinking he’s a good player but the Von Miller Micah Parson comparisons need to stop. Can he be a Top 15 pick sure but Micah was generational that’s not quite what I’m seeing.
