MHJ is gonna be elite & I understand why he’s touted as the best receiver but man Malik Nabers is my number one in this draft class. That boy is gonna be a problem in the league. If my Giants don’t select a QB I would be happy if we took Nabers.
Hell no my cardinals are taking him for Kyler if MJH ain’t available Holly wood brown will be gone after this season his contract is up I don’t see this new staff paying him 🤷🏼♂️ either MHJ or Nabers it is birdgang !!!!!
@@theog2306 nope. Herbert needs a real weapon and Keenan is either moving on or will be in another season or so. This guy is a stud. We need Nabers, a center and then all the other picks should go to the defense. A Herbert to Nabers connection can be one of the greatest connections in the league
@@theog2306 Mike Williams is almost guaranteed to be a cap casualty this offseason, while Quentin Johnston has been a nonfactor. Drafting Nabers makes too much sense for the Chargers
@@theog2306 I never said Quentin Johnston should be cut, just that he's been a nonfactor. The reason why drafting Malik Nabers at Number 5 is because he'd be an explosive option on an affordable rookie contract. Mike Williams and Keenan Allen seem like they're both gonna be cap casualties. If Quentin Johnston breaks out, great. It took Mike Williams 2 or 3 years to become a factor on the Chargers offense. Quentin Johnston catching passes with his body sounds like another WR we had who had that 'issue'. Vincent Jackson, anyone? We're not gonna be drafting in the top 5 every year. I say we get the best WR available while we can
As a Chicago Bears fan I saw this dude mocked to us at five recently and thought I'd check him out. Thought it seemed early for a WR not named Marvin Harrison, but this guy really reminds me of DJ Moore with the way he plays. Gets great YAC, decent route running with some good twitch, and can threaten teams over the top with his vertical speed. I think this guy will be real good in the league.
Also his burst of speed especially coming out of his routes is insane. If we hire a new Head Coach we’re prbly drafting Caleb Williams #1 and then I would love to pair him with DI Moore and Nabers in the slot and maybe sign Tee Higgins. Offense could really become something for once in this non existing franchise lol #BearDown
@@williamhermann6635 bears have a decent squad. Comes down to what happens in free agency at edge and also what they think about braxton jones, who is a competent and maybe even good tackle
@@oscarbrownv7 if teams knew what the likes gronk or gates, kittle, and kelsie would become your damn right they would use the 5th pick in the first round on TE especially for gronk and kelsie they would go number 1 if teams knew what type of impact they would have on a offense.
Eventually? He would step in and be target number 2 in a high passing volume offense. He would be the 2nd option from day 1. QJ would be relegated to Gatorade fetcher.
@@donbigotes360 With either Mike Williams or Keenan Allen becoming cap casualties soon, Malik Nabers simply makes too much sense as an affordable replacement
Nabers is seriously so good you can argue his as WR1 as a prospect in any class since 2015. He’s got elite ball tracking, strong hands, quick feet and what sets him apart is the fact Malik is his timing and anticipation wether it’s when to take a step or go full speed to run all the above traits of a high level WR seriously reminds me of J Jefferson or DJ Moore
@@dark8prince201 Moss was insane for sure but he wasnt nearly as versatile as Nabers. Im strictly talking about how complete his game is. Im not saying hes some kind of once in a lifetime athete like Moss was.
He’s DJ Moore 2.0 this guy is a future WR1.The 2nd best WR in this draft because he didn’t face a lot of different defensive press coverages doesn’t mean he was weak at facing them. This dude is a handful and will be in the pros.
@@jettcapson2 Aw ok but I watch DJ all of his career this dude looks like DJ because of the explosion after the catch.Lamb doesn’t have this type of explosion.
@@NoreMediaNOLA I mean DJ Moore is 6'0 210 and Nabers is listed at 6'0 200 so he's smaller according to what they have on websites but we'll see what he's measured at during the combine
If MHJ is picked up before my Cardinals I hope they pick this guy. One thing that I don’t like about MHJ is that he drops after first contact and Nabers fights for that extra yard.
But the separation that MHJ does, Nabers can't do. That's the difference Harrison's size/speed combo, 50/50 ball skills and separation is insane. Nabers YAC is way better, but he has more contested catches whereas MHJ is always separating himself making him a better red-zone and deep threat.
He gets separation way better than Harrison. He way faster out of his breaks then Harrison. It's why Harrison was shut down in 25% of his games. Nabors has no weaknesses.
Man he has potenial to be a all time reciever his acceration is like Jerry Rice he has all time elusiveness and he is 6'0 most of the great receivers are listed at 6'0 he looks like he runs a high 4.2 im taking him over Marvin Harrison juat solely base on his ability after the catch when he gets it he looks like Devin Hester running a kick return
This is going to be one of the craziest drafts in recent years. I can't see this guy going past the chargers at 5. The pick before will be QBs and Marvin. Looks like mostly or all offensive players early.
Bro this dudes route running is way better than Marvin Harrison Jrs. Plus he’s way stronger and quicker. He legit can make an instant impact on any team
I need this guy in Powder Blue. Herbert would be launching rockets and he's gonna make every man miss has he catches and runs. Him or Bowers is the pick at 5 for sure has to be.
I hope we draft him as I think that he is at least the number 2 receiver in this draft by far. I'm a Saints fan by the way and if we have him, Olave, and Shaheed, OMG!!!!
His NFL comp is OBJ both same height, both have great hands, both explosive after the catch and both are great route runners but could improve a little only question with both are size which still isn’t that big of a question
I've watched his and Odunze's highlights. Odunze has men draped on him for every catch it seems. great catches but no separation compared especially to this guy. nabers can also make the contested catches, he's is the real deal wr2 behind MHJ
You've got to include Coleman in there as well. He's one of the freakiest dudes I've ever seen play the position. His speed and explosiveness paired with his size is extremely rare. He's also made some of the toughest contested catches out of anyone. Keep an eye on Xavier Legette from SC too. He's going to be a big riser come combine/pro-workout season
Odunze isn't a beat you with speed reciever, he is like mike evans who is a QB's best friend who just wins jump balls, runs good routes, and has insane hands. He will be 10x better than nabers at NFL level and arguably best WR in this class. There's a million Nabers in NFL who are all WR3 not many teams have a guy like Odunze.
everyone saying this is DJ Moore..Na this guys much better than DJ Moore, much more explosive, better than route runner and fluid. Just like ppl were saying Jefferson coming out was Keenan Allen, I was like Na Jefferson much more explosive than keenan.
Be on the lookout could be the steal of the wideout class. nasty route change direction decent hands got the fuel to burn defenders last but not least physical strength add size we got the next Aj Brown. Jets sneaky 3rd/ pick.
Dafuq? Did you say Jets could get him as a 3rd round pick?? lol this due is a first rounder, the 2nd WR off the board, likely top 10. Not really what you label a "steal"
@@ckgjr30naw still a steal if he’s not first off the board he will be better than MHJ I tried to buy into the hype but the tape doesn’t lie Malik is better
@@A1thesaucegod To each their own, I just think MHJ can separate so much better, making his catches easier, Malik is going to be special though, I think they both are gonna be studs.
I’m sorry but this dude looks like a combo of Ceedee Lamb and AJ Brown… the explosiveness, route running, and YAC is crazy. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a better pro career than MHJ. As a Bears fan I’m hoping for Caleb and Nabers in the upcoming draft
@@Akronkangaroo yeah probably not. A lot of mocka have Bengals picking Brock bowers. I don't think he'll be there but he's my first choice. Keon Coleman likely the WR that'll be there and he's nearly identical to tee Higgins if we have to replace him
@@richmargin6082 Iowa and I would even say the Big 10 in general, seems to always produce a lot of good tight ends. I def agree about Notre Dame and O-Linemen.
@@PENS68and BTW use produced God wrs over time like Steve and Keyshawn johnson and rn this year in the draft will be Brendan rice the son of the goat wr of all time Jerry and Mario Williams for next could be a top prospect
Id take nabers over mhj Faster stronger better concentration better after the catch and plays in a tougher division nabers has an amazing ability to find open space and make people miss
SEC bias?? They literally have the same 40 time, MHJ is bigger, has a much larger catch radius, they have similar footwork, I’d take nabers for being more elusive tho, they’re both going to be special players in the NFL
I keep telling people mhj is over rated , would you agree? I think all his hype is just bc of whose son he is. Mhj catches the ball and sits down, never turns up field and have a burst of speed, never breaks more then one tackle if that. He is just a normal receiver period. Meanwhile nabers makes you anticipate what he’s gonna do after he catches it
@@taylorhathaway4221 not even an sec bias value of the position is much more valued on athleticism mhj is bigger but doesn’t play like it and they may have the same 40 or not but mhj is definitely not as fast as nabers his acceleration makes him explosive mhj is not explosive mhj will be a good receiver but will probably struggle to separate at the next level
@@Pure.game.since.90 not by much very good player but we will have to see how these guys adapt nabers is more athletic and incredibly hard to tackle and plays way bigger than his frame where as mhj would prefer to avoid contact but has a great catch radius
@@Pure.game.since.90I watch OSU every week. You’re an idiot if you think MHJ is overrated. Dude is breaking records with a mediocre QB. He catches every clutch pass we need and leads the nation with 13 touchdown receptions. He’s big but he runs routes like Davante Adams. He’s the number 1 receiver in the league and that is well deserved and he will do great things in the NFL. Mark my words
The best team he can land on will be the chargers with herbert! They better make it happen after the terrible QJ pick and passing on Addison and flowers
This dude looks like ceedee lamb on the field, and im a cowboys fan so i know what ceedee looks like. Hes gonna take a year or two to grow ocne drafted, but he will be a beast
What’s stopping the Chicago Bears 🐻 from drafting Marvin Harrison Jr And Malik Nabers? Fix a weak spot on your team and draft your WR2/1A and your WR3/2A. Go heavy offense in the draft and in FA heavy defense.
