I don't normally rate the USA men being as I'm Jamaican. But laird had my respect. That boy can shift gear. Very talented youth. Haven't seen him on the circuit since tho. ????
On TV it sure looked like Matt held off Joe. But, full credit to Terrance, he won in fine style. Interestingly, Joe Fan-bullet was the only one to make the Tokyo 200m final (5th).
Still so mad that Laird got hurt. This version of Laird was about to be a dog for the US team. Still hoping he finds a way to mount a comeback, but he hasn't looked the same since the injury. His top-end was incredible!
