I won't be surprised if Maryland beats LSU. Fernando and Smith are gonna be a problem for LSU. Should be a fun game but this game is a perfect example of LSU not killing off their prey when they have the chance.
Yes, I can. The tournament works like this: there are 68 teams that are selected. 32 of those teams will be “auto-bids.” Basically, if you win your conference tournament that is hosted right before the tournament, then you are automatically guaranteed a spot. Yale, who was definitely not a top 68 team last year, got in because they won their tournament (The Ivy League Tournament). There are great conferences like the ACC, Big Ten, and Big East, and there are some really awful conferences like the MEAC (NC Central) and the SWAC (Prairie View A&M). That’s how every year there will be some really bad teams that qualify into the field. Anyways, this is how 32 of the 68 teams are decided. The other 36 teams are the best teams in college basketball, which are determined by a committee (kinda like college football but 36 teams instead of 4). So that’s how multiple teams from the top conferences get in. For instance, the Big Ten had Maryland, Minnesota, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Purdue, and Iowa all get in due to this process.
We had the worst first half of the season and still had the tigers by their tails. All time series with LSU 1-1. We beat you guys 50 years ago in the Rainbow classic when Jimmy Morgan had 35 and :Pistol Pete had 34! Check it out!
@@asecmimosas4536 most rookies are terrible at defense he will learn or develop some defensive skills in the nba but a stretch four who is also explosive should be a top ten pick
Next time any LSU player will see a player from Yale is if a tiger ends up on a championship team and they go visit the white house the other will be a jr congressman or a lobbyist
