Great video. Try pinching the blade behind the avocado seed to but pressure on it, it will pop safely off the blade every time.

Seems like we all want something “different” from what is available.....with that said I would love to have a genesis that is only about 1/2-3/4” longer blade from the standard genesis. I dont care much for larger knives, but feel like just a little more blade would be beneficial

I prefer this knife, not a fan of French Trade pattern knives like the Sopses. The kephart/spear point style design is more functional to me. Thank you for watching!

Awesome review buddy! Right now I saved enough money to buy an LTWK and I’m stuck in between this Gen6 or the Sospes.what would you lean to? I generally always have a hatchet or a boys axe when I’m out in the Forest. Thanx Bud and keep up the awesome work! Beautiful knife!!

I would go with the Gen6 for sure, a little bit bigger and lighter and the handle can’t be beat. A2 Steel is my favorite

The Bearded Burton Thanx for the Advice! I really respect and appreciate your opinion on this subject! Have you happen to handle & use the LT Wright forest trail knife for knife connection? It’s also A2 . Looks awesome,but I’m looking for something just a tad longer like the Gen6. Once again thanx Chief!

Thanks man, yes I have handled a FT and didn’t realize at the time that it is very similar to the design I submitted for my Beardlore with LTWK
