Also asking for an update on the 95mm LT2 Dyno Update. Stock Lt1 mani vs 95mm LT2 port matched mani. I think most people will agree we all like ya'lls videos and the quality information you put out for your customers. Thanks in Advance!!!
Ok so what I did was order a billet ICT adapter part #551793. It's a Gen 5 LT5 95mm plate to LT1 intake. I used a bead of black RTV on the manifold side with no issues. You can also reach out to Soler Performance and see if they can send you one of their gaskets for 95MM TB.
GPI admits the LT2 intake has a bottleneck. Not sure you should be posting this video online. I specifically want a 103mm TB, and what you are telling me is to buy an Atomic Air Force Intake Manifold. Not really providing options for me it seems.
You actually can make it 95 pretty easy. It's not even close to being too thin. 103 no probably not. I run a 95 with it and works good. I don't know about boosted but heavy porting in this manner is usually a na deal. Helps just as much with boosted but can pulley to the point of short block failure on lt1 pretty easy so unless a full race build would be waste of time and money to port the manifold to these degree. I did 95-96 mm port on the manifold all the way back and rounded off the bottom of tb opening as well. Never was I even close to breaking through.
I don't mind spending the extra cash so how does a ported msd stack up against a ported lt2 on a bolton car? Id probably go with a ported 95mm and I roll race 95% of the time. Thanks
