I don't know much about street fighter, but too me it seems like LTG plays pretty lame and boring. He keeps building distance between himself and throwing his knifes and then doing his rolls that reach from across the screen and then rinse and repeat. Really boring to watch.
I don't even play SF4, but I enjoy watching some of the matches, yet LTG seems average at best. It doesn't matter what character he picks, the strategy is the same. Spam 1 or 2 moves out of range to encourage the opponent to do all of the work to get in, then it's an LTG running game to the next corner... over and over again. I play people like that in Vampire Savior and they get bodied hard for that lame passive strategy. Unfortunately it seems as though it isn't as easy to punish players with that lame "chase me from corner to corner while I get just enough little hits in between my running game to win" strategy in SF4. It makes me glad to not have invested time and money into that game when I see players that play like bitches regardless of the character they pick. Does anyone else not notice his wimpy strategy is the same no matter what character he picks? Not hating on SF4, just the pussy style that it seems like most people can abuse in it that they can't abuse in Vampire Savior.
+Marie Laudate Not the biggest LTG fan but you are way off mark here. I've seen him play aggressive styles before. Why would he play close against Honda when he can chip with hands, get butt stump off constantly, the command grab is good as fuck, not to mention headbutt is a good midscreen option.
+ShockaSlim I totally agree with you that against Honda he shouldn't want to be in close too much, but his constant spamming of rolls and daggers seems like a desperate wimp strategy. He has said he feels he is great at SF4 for the most part and can "body MOST players", yet he doesn't resemble the play style or mentality of even the average tournament player. He's mentally limited because of his silly character biases and emotionally fragile to say the least. Most decent players would've controlled Honda with pokes, counter-pokes, and careful smart gameplay just outside of sweep range in addition to what he repeated all match. He's very one dimensional my friend. I've been playing fighters before most of the FGC was born so I can assess it fairly easy.

It's hard to see how he hates honda and all the charge characters for "playing off of his mind and his mistakes" when his whole gameplan is to hide in the corner and force them to come at him. This guy is like the Mayweather of fighting games.

+Cao Cao Getting in there is no joke for characters without some gimmicky fireballs to hide behind or special movement options. This is why grapplers like Zangief and Hakan are considered low tier and are only played by competitors with a lot of patience. You have to decide what hits to eat, keep blocking, decide when to either press forward, and apply whatever pressure you can, all the while you are a sitting duck eating safe pokes, block strings and fireballs while they jump around and run away. The patience and decisive action required to lock them down is immense. So in short, you are right.

E Honda walks slow. To move across the screen swiftly, he relies more on charged techniques. To expect to be walking all the way into your spam attacks is ignorant. Its not like he's going to parry that in this game.
