Lots of Sephiroth hate in the comments while Ned made top 8 with him in this tournament. If Sephiroth sucks, then Ned wouldn't make it to top 8-9 consistently with him at regionals.
Sephiroth struggle in the current matter. He has no oos. His Frame data cant Deal with pressure and he is Not consistent evan if you Space correctly because he dont have active hitboxes. Ned is a Great Player but sephiroth is really hard to play.
@@MuNiqab , your statement doesn't refute my point about Ned's placements with Sephiroth. Also, he has footstool dair OOS. Ned has utilized this tool many times.
Totally agree. And also make him much heavier when the wing appears - that would be a good buff. He probably has the worst of all the characters with extra states except Little Mac: The wing is great but most times when he gets the wing, he is a hit or 2 away from losing the stock. Terry's Go is infinite and the character isn't light so he can do tons of damage before he loses the stock. Arsene is broken even with the nerf. Cloud's Limit is extremely useful to an already great character. Kazuya's lasts for a long time and can withstand multiple hits and goes through moves, and also kills early.
In my opinion it would be more beneficial to his character archetype if his attacks came out faster than if he had less end lag. What that would do is lessen the window of precision required for him to whiff punish. I'd exchange the slightly faster attacks for less damage and knockback.
Hard agree that Sephiroth recovery frames on aerials to be shortened. It wouldn’t break him, but will make him safer. Blind spots, high startup, and high recovery frames makes swinging too risky in this Super mash bros meta.
I don't understand why Nintendo thought it was a good idea to make Sephiroth wiff his aerials against low profiling. His moves are already laggy enough.
I feel like seph is a hard counter pick to some characters and that's all he should be used for. I don't think anyone has that level of experience yet and his meta hasn't evolved enough. Although I do think this match up could be in his favor a tiny bit
@Master Shifu I can see that. I play a decent snake with seph kinda often and what I've personally noticed is that side b works really well, you can cover his landing/recovery options really well, and his range allows him to poke snake to the ledge if he's choosing to not approach. But like most match ups, it's still really volatile.
