I found the tiled walls in that fortress really interesting so of course had to spend a little time Googling more about them. They are Portuguese & tell the story of the history of Angola. On another sadder note the corruption is awful. Thank you for talking about it. Your videos are a really informative travelogue.

Another excellent piece. Great natural sound in the market. I'm glad you have found your voice, first in India and now here. I'm sure I'd feel the same. Again your content is the best on the ship hands down. I follow several others too and while the locations and factual information is the same, the execution is all in your package. See ya in the next port.

Somewhat like India....a lot of what we would call poverty yet everyone seems happy......I saw that picture of Castro when you drove by......he seems to be a hero in Angola......But anyway the tourist trade my be taking over if prices go down....

You are getting very slick with your videos - your preseting style and informaton on the places is really excellent. It's such a shame that the poor take a hammering all the time - plus ca change. here's to the next stop!

As of July 2020, there are eight recognized species of Adansonia, with six endemic to Madagascar, one native to mainland Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, and one native to Australia. The mainland African species (Adansonia digitata) also occurs on Madagascar, but it is not a native of that island. Baobabs were introduced in ancient times to south Asia and during the colonial era to the Caribbean. Could Zarko please put the camera on the object you are talking about. That would be much more interesting to actually see the object instead of you walking around.

Thanks for your feedback! We really appreciate it. Just to let you know, we make these videos primarily for ourselves to remember and relive our travels. Whether others like them or not isn’t as important to us. We do our best to avoid "Talking Heads Videos" and focus more on the places we visit, but many of our friends want to see more of us too. We take a lot of footage, and sometimes the audio and video don’t line up perfectly. Anyone who has made and edited videos knows the challenge! We’re just two retirees doing this for fun, with no aspirations for Hollywood fame. In our videos, you’ll see the places, we’ll share how we feel and what we find interesting, and we definitely won’t bore you with dry Wikipedia information. Thanks for watching!
