Weight rating for the ankle, that’s absolutely hilarious, lol. I should pull the trigger on buying this today… I was thinking of somehow sticking a ring stick up cam on it cos I travel for work, what do you think about that? 👊🏾🇳🇬🇺🇸
Great video . After watching a few of your videos I am now a subscriber. I like the way you do and explain things. Were the guards you removed hard to take off? Does it cut closer now? Did taking the guards off reduce the rigidity of the mower in that area?
Thanks for subscribing and leaving a nice comment 👍. I detail the guards and their removal in this video: Luba 5000 AWD End of Season - Real World Use Review ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w5fTTyBh400.html
Did you map the path onto the curb? In your other videos it drove with a wheel well into the street. I don’t have a roll-over style curb like you do, and a wheel over that far could be a disaster on the busy street I have. My Luba arrives tomorrow.
I did map onto curb, but there is a risk of slight deviations from the path. As you said, in my case it isn’t a big deal, but I wouldn’t do it on regular curbing.
I noticed you don't go right up against the pavers.....I assume that is by design and then you trim that? you look to be about 6-8 inches (maybe more?) off of the pavers...is that right?
Most landscape beds, pavers, etc are higher then the grass level which means you'll have to trim around those areas no matter how close you get with the machine. The real problem is that the machine can get caught up on the pavers if the boundary is too close. Since you have to be there with a trimmer anyway, might as well keep enough clearance to not have any issues. People who want to use these robots are now starting to lower their beds and pavers even with the ground and also create a wider border with the pavers so that robot can actually go half on and off the pavers easier and cut that entire edge. So yeah, plenty of ways to make your yard robot friendly.
Most cut their own with a gas mower and a couple pay a service. It’s interesting…most people can’t comprehend a robot cutting their grass, they see it but it doesn’t seem real to them?
