I have a cheap battery powered Grease Gun and it makes a mess just sitting in the case out in the shop. It leaks out of the end where you slide the tube in. I have never seen the lube shuttle deal before. I will look into it. Thanks.
Great tip - I think Bosch have one of these adaptors also -- Biggest problem here in Australia we mostly use 450g tubes - Total Tools here sell 450g Castrol Grease for $6/tube if you buy 6 -- While 400g of fairly std. grease are over $20 - The screw in style lube shuttle grease cartridges are $40 or more --- Does anyone from Australia have a better solution -- Looks like I will be using our std. 450 cartridges for a while yet.
LockNLube told me they no longer carry the adapter (LNL250) and they moved them over to eBay. A quick eBay search showed none available. If there's another source still available, please post here. Otherwise, if there is sufficient detail available, they could be replicated on a 3D printer.
I was told the same thing but Ask for Matt I believe. at that time they had 900 but it's been a year and I gotten a lot of response from my post. If you find one get it. they work great.
I just got off the phone with Aaron at Lock N Lube. He is the person referenced in the video. I did not ask to speak with Matt. Aaron said they no longer have any LNL250 adapters. It was an adapter with custom threads made for a specific grease gun. They sold so few (less than 50) that their remaining stock went to the dumpster. I was hoping the adapter was more universal, allowing other grease guns to use the Lube Shuttle cartridges. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm stuck with either continuing to use my leaky gun or switching over to a crazy expensive Lube Shuttle. I'm leaning toward just getting a manually operated Lube Shuttle.
@@KPW724 sorry to hear that you Are wright it was Aaron. at the time I spoke to them they had 900+ on a pallet . I was told that they were selling them on eBay. So if you can find one dont worry about the thread you dont nee to screw it in. Take you grease gun and take the metal tube off put the adapt upon side and screw you tube back in place. That holds the adapter in. Screw in the lube shuttle and have at it it works great. Good luck on finding themI have one.
