I watched your interview with Yanmar and appreciate you sharing. I am also in Cherokee County, above Canton. Dad is 79 and running a 2014 LS with clutch/shuttleshift. The clutch is getting too much for his knee if he is in for extemded time and the PTO does not have a neutral. This makes aligning certain implements difficult. I am going to share your video with him and get him to the EVO store. We have been lookimg at Kioti, Kubota, another LS, and a Massey. Definitely feel he should try the Yanmar. Thank you.
he will love the yanmar transmission you really never need to use the clutch. Also if he would like to see mine in a none sale environment you are welcome to reach out and come by. Thanks for watching.
we have two Yan mar's 324 for mowing around the cabins and the 359 for clearing and other things. The 4 wheel drive is a huge factor in the mountains of Pa...Great video and review. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Been thinking of switching myself as the cost, which you mentioned is a BIG factor. My Yanmar dealer is 2 hours away, so have to figure that in. Great information for us who are looking to save and get informed on the differences.
Thanks for watch the Video. The Yanmar is a vert nice tractor. I looked at kobota and YMT as well and the Myanmar won hands down. the other thing is its easy to service and Myanmar is very helpful in the manic side. they will tell you or send the docs to fix any thing or in may case make it easer to install stuff. Almost every tractor manufacture out uses yanmar engine and transmissions. and can service them. any I sound like a Yammer sales man and I am not but I really like my Yanmar.
I was seriously considering the same tractor you've got. If I hadn't wanted to go just a little bigger, with a little more HP, I'd have definitely bought it. As I understand it, they have one of, if not the best transmission in the business. I ended up with a Kioti RX 7320 cab and power shuttle (73 HP, 63 or 65 PTO HP). I have no regrets. But as I said, if I'd have been okay with a little bit of a smaller machine, I think I'd have ended up with the same machine you did. From everything that I understand, Yanmar makes a great machine.
yes the Myanmar is an assume tractor. the transmission is really great. It's not a shuttle sift. it does shuttle ship but also has a lot of other features that really make the Yanmar stand out. on a finny note I said I was a loyal John Deere owner for 54 years. Come to find out the second tractor I bought the John Deere was 100% Yanmar build just painted green and re branded. Thanks for watching
Been looking at the 359C as my next tractor. In the past, I have had the Kubota L3901 and John Deere 5090E (cab). The Kubota was too small and the JD was too big, plus it was expensive and used fuel like there was no tomorrow. Yammer has a lot of equipment features that are standard that are considered options on other tractors, plus it has a 10 year warranty. Thanks for an in depth spec review and comparison between the tractors.
you won't be disappointed . Mine is great best tractor I have ever owned. the new still transmission will take you a little while to get use to it more like driving a car. but once you get it it's amazing. enjoy
@@retiredonthefarm965 I’ve had 5 Kubotas from 23 to 82hp. Good build quality and tight cabs. The absolute worst hydraulics(wimpy) of any machine I’ve ever operated. Best days for my Kubotas was when I sold them. Will never own another one. I’ve had a JD 1026R for about 5yrs and have done more REAL work with it than any of the others. I’ll miss that little tractor. I traded it in on the Yanmar. 🥲. You’re 6’10”? That’s a squeeze getting in isn’t it? Wow!!!😳
6' 10' 330 lbs when I bought mine I am now 290 wife has me on a diet. When your my size, I have to try on cars and tractors and make sure I will fit. I have plenty of room in the cab and leg room as well. @@sflotr
I'm a big Deere fan and have owned several but I'm seriously considering switching to YT35C. The 4066R is so much more expensive for no more machine. I do have to say my local Deere dealer does send me the "Furrow" magazine and a calendar
You will be very pleased with the YT359C I am still amazed at the power it has over the jd 4044r that I had. the transmission in it has as close of the power out put as a straight shift than any thing else. Great tractor!! The only thing I did wrong was not switching years ago.
@@platinumjeweler call Linda direct and have it shipped in. Yanmar EVO Store 770-324-5791 linda_biskup@yanmar.com I dont know if there were any price increase in 2024. But get Linda to quote it. lol it worth a shot.
I love the YT 359c. For grins I went to the Yanmar site and built the yt359. Base tractor is $48,559, front end loader is $9,000, b85 backhoe is $16,000. Did they charge you for the loader or was it standard? Thanks for your time.
Over time he changed from selling equipment to a rental company. And sold that business 10 years ago. I don't really know why he got out of the John deer Business but it's been 25 years or more since he was a dealer and he is no longer with us to ask.
Thats good to know that it has that much space inside. I ordered one and it should be in sometime next week. I test drove the YT359 and really liked it. I noticed how much easier it was to enter and exit the platform. My choices came down to the YT359C and Bobcat 5558. I just like the features on the this tractor over the Bobcat. And then the room inside was different. I would’ve had to upgrade the seat because it wasn’t strong enough to hold my weight without excessively bottoming out. I’m excited about working with this tractor.
I’m not trying to be an azz, but if you’re going to do RU-vid as a serious endeavor, you’re gonna need to do something about this audio. Audio is 90% of video; even if it seems counterintuitive.
This is great information that more people should know about. Would you be open to letting us interview you? Here's a link to one of our past interview videos we did! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Wo05ugIbkD8.html Thanks for sharing your experience here on RU-vid!
