Water tank constantly wets the inside of the dust drawer, so it’s very messy and needs constant cleaning, which is awkward.

I agree with you! I wish they had provided separate mop and dust tanks as I don't like that I basically have to stop using the vacuum after mopping to let the tank fully dry or it just makes a mess. At the very least, a plastic pad for it to sit on when charging would be nice as it will just leak at it's charging pad if you forget about it when it finishes mopping. In general, I don't use the mop function. Instead, I just vacuum but leave the microfiber cloth on to catch anything the vacuum doesn't and wash that from time to time.

@@djbethell My favorite so far has been the Roomba i5. It has separate tanks you swap out for vacuuming and mopping and it has stood up well to heavy use. BUT I wouldn't recommend it because it's not smart enough to not roll over gross things like cat puke/worse...From what I understand, some of the higher Roomba models will avoid those items but I haven't personally tested them yet. I also do think the mopping on all of these is a bit of a gimmick...while I love them when I'm want a quick wipedown before guests arrive and am busy cleaning something else, they just don't fully clean the floors. They just don't have the weight to press into the floor hard enough for a good scrub. So the mop feature is not a priority to me. The next vacuum bot I get will definitely be a higher end Roomba that can recognize and avoid cat messes. And maybe a self-emptying one, but that requires it taking more space so TBD!

@@alderandjade thanks for taking the time to advise. I think I’ll stick with the Lubluelu, (30 day trail runs out tomorrow) and in two or three years hopefully they’ll will be something more rounded on the market. While I agree the mop is definitely a gimmick, it does help me keep the floor semi-clean for any unexpected visitors. I have a tendency to let things go then suddenly a knock at door wakes me up to how bad things have got. At least a daily sweep and mop cloth wipe from the machine makes it more controllable. Thanks again. x

@@bikEarth There is a QR code you scan in the manual that will take you to the app. In the Apple App Store, it's called "Smart Life - Smart Living" It's actually an app used by a bunch of brands of smart devices so I already had it for a smart plug from a different company. You'll have to sign up for an account when you open up the app or login. The vacuum needs wifi and bluetooth! Bluetooth to connect to the device the first time. Wifi so you can access/control the device even when you aren't at home (or wherever you have this set-up) Once logged into the app, it will search for any devices on the network. If it doesn't find the vacuum immediately, you can add manually by finding it in the list on the app and following the directions. Then once it finds the vacuum, it will have you enter your wifi password to connect the vacuum directly to your wifi. And then you're in!

Do you know the main differences from this model to SL60D? I noticed this one is newer and more powerful (5000Pa x 4000Pa), but the other one is more expensive... 🤔 Wondering if it's better on other things. Thanks!

They have VERY similar features so I'm not sure from reading their listings. But the L15 is a year newer. It was just released this March and I was one of the first to review it at that time...They sent me mine before they put up the Amazon listing. I know they were focused on improving it based on reviews of prior models, but this is the first Lubluelu that I've had so I don't know what exactly changed.

Still solid. Though it gets grumpy when we move furniture and likes to re-map everything from time to time. FYI - I haven't used the mopping feature since I demonstrated it for video. I just treat it as an automated vacuum.

I could be missing something, but I thought it automatically cleaned the edges! When I run mine, it usually goes around the edges of the space and then around the legs of furniture and then back-and-forth across the emptier spaces. Do you want it to only clean the edges of the space or is this something else?

@@alderandjade yeah that’s the same for me. Another problem I have been having is that the robot vacuum forgets where the charging station is. Not always but sometimes it’ll just run it over. Is there a factory reset button somewhere

@@shanveerkamboj6859 I just left for vacation so I can’t check, but I’m sure there is a factory reset. You can also delete the map and have it remap your space. Mine kept pushing the charging station from where I had it under my couch so I ended up wedging the station against a wall and an air filter so it couldn’t move it. That’s working, but I may just stick it to the floor with command tape so I can put it back where I liked it.

How do you get it to vacuum in rows like it mops?!

@@ashbash4854 Mine always vacuums in rows...the trick is that it first goes around the border of the room and the edges of anything on the floor (table legs, boxes, etc). Once it has all the edges finished, it'll start doing lines back and forth across the space. In a busier room, it's not as obvious as it is in my kitchen where there was nothing else in the space for it to circle first.

@@alderandjade, thank you. Also, how do you get it to collect dust all the time? I got mine a few days ago. I see collect dust options, but want it to collect the whole time it vacuums.

@@ashbash4854 I'm pretty sure it's always collecting dust when it vacuums. You can also leave a dry cloth on the bottom and that can catch anything it misses.

It’s brand new. They had me and a few other influencers provide feedback on it in addition to making our videos. And I had to wait for them to launch the Amazon listing to add my video. On Amazon, you can see that it is sold by the official seller “Lubluelu Robot US” and you can confirm that this same Amazon seller sells all Lubluelu products on Amazon.

@@alderandjade Why then, if it's an original, is it not on their official website? And another question . The box is from this model L15. Very strange. Lubluebu makes other boxes for their products.

@@mister_mishka It is indeed the model L15. Like it says in the Amazon listing. I'm guessing it's not on their website yet because they don't actually sell much directly on their website so the Amazon listing was the priority. And time is money. But I'm only guessing. And I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if us early reviewers got simpler boxes. My best guess is that this model was still finalizing imagery for packaging and promotional materials when I received it two weeks ago. But again, this is coming from the official Lubluebu US seller on Amazon. It is NOT being sold by a 3rd party. That can't be faked on Amazon. The only other idea I have is that they are leaning heavily into iterations. That this model isn't fully fleshed out yet as they are waiting to see the reviews on the soft launch. This definitely isn't a Roomba that would've done private tests and finalized the marketing materials before launching the product. I'm pretty sure I was part of the initial test group - they're getting test results and marketing materials in one go.

@@mister_mishka, OMG. Its not “fake”. I bought the same one from Amazon and LOVE it. Im just figuring out how to get it to vacuum in zigzag or in rows.
