This is what happens when some players are not, or refuse to be, Bribed Off by filthy rich White people to lose to novaq. The LIKELY Paying Off to lose to novaq has Likely been happening since at least 2022, when such filthy rich people saw Rafael going up Two Majors on their White man. The possible Bribery is likely not done, we have to wait and see. But until the ITF and ATP (and WTA for iga and coco) look DEEP into these possible Briberies and give us the VARIOUS investigations or methods and results, I will stand correct.

2:04 this was such a weird moment. I feel like Djokovic only complained because he hit a bad drop shot and knew Nardi would get there. Because from what we see, Nardi stops playing thinking ball was out, but gets the return in play, and then Djokovic instantly runs forwards to take advantage of the situation. If Djokovic truly thought the point was over, he wouldn’t have bothered to run forwards.

Of course he was bitter. People will still say he was gracious in defeat :)) And to be honest, Djokovic stopped playing in that point much more clearly than Nardi did. Novak will still be a tough out moving forward however, all those that thought '24 would simply continuation of where '23 left-off need to understand- each year is its own animal. Novak is approaching 37 soon and will no longer be able play at the level he's use to. Age works invisibly on our bodies so that, reflexes, reaction-time, coordination, etc. become fractions-of-a-second slower, which makes a HUGE difference in professional sports- the difference between winning and losing! It's been a great run for Novak!
@shoaibmemon8788
@shoaibmemon8788 6 месяцев назад
You are right but is he really slowing down? When he barely won Wimbledon against 38 year old Federer in 2019 and then even Thiem took him to 5 sets in Australian Open in 2020 i thought Novak is slowing down but then he made a comeback. I mean Medvedev beat him in Straight Sets in the US open and then Novak returned the favour the very next year so maybe its just bad Patch
@edkiely2712
@edkiely2712 6 месяцев назад
@shoaibmemon8788 Slowing down enough where he's losing earlier in tournaments and to a player ranked #123 in the world! All it takes is those fractions-of-a-second I referred to above to become the difference between dominating and struggling to beat lesser players. Novak is more than capable of winning tournaments still! However, I believe the "early signs" are evident. We sometimes forget how fine-tuned these top players are with their games and conditioning. Novak has reached basically the same age where Roger was still competitive but, they are outliers. It's just too difficult to recover and maintain the same level-of-play, especially with the Slams where you hv to do it 7 times. Novak still has some good tennis left!
@shoaibmemon8788
@shoaibmemon8788 6 месяцев назад
@@edkiely2712 it does look like he is slowing down but thats not something new i mean you would have how Novak has improved his Serve and Net game in recent past to become the more creative players and he is shortening the points too, Novak is saving the energy for few years now he is no more the greatest baseline player, lets see how he performs in Roland Garros thats his least preferred Slam and Surface though
@edkiely2712
@edkiely2712 6 месяцев назад
@shoaibmemon8788 Yes! As Roger did with his team, Novak and his will be selective about when to practice, how often and how hard, and be selective about which tournaments to play. They've been doing so anyway, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them make some adjustments or tweaks moving forward. Nadal's career is hanging by a thread, as are Murray's and Wawrinka's. Novak I see lasting well into next year(barring injury)however, when he finally calls it a career, it will bring to a close a tremendous window of tennis since Roger won the US Open in '04. We should enjoy every last point of his career because, not too long they'll all be watching from the seats and giving interviews about their great matches!

@@edkiely2712 Agreed, cant imagine tennis without all of them, would love to see Nadal give this years Roland Garros a shot, as of yet Novak isnt very selective in comparison to Nadal i think the reason for that is that Novak fancy his chances of winning literally any tournament i mean he is the only one to win 7 out of 9 master 1000 atleast thrice and rest of the two masters atleast once whereas Nadal and Federer have only won 7 masters atleast once let alone thrice, Novak made a bad move by playing doubles in the olympics had he not done that he might have won Olympics in Singles, any ways would love to see how he approaches future tournaments he would love to win this year's Olympic though.

Congrats to Nardi on a solid match, but as a big Djokovic fan, that was very disappointing! Looks like the Italian hangover still lingers (0-2) in last two matches. Djokovic played badly in almost every aspect just like the Sinner match. I know it's a small sample size but Novak can't expect to make any headway this season if he continues playing like this.... Ineffective serve average returns A step slower Outplayed at the back of the court Poor shot selection Average pace and depth of shot The list goes on..... Honestly for the first time in a while, he looks his age. He's a half step slower and unwilling to suffer in extended rallies. He used to grind out the 9+ rallies. Now he makes unforced errors or shortens the point with poor drop shots. The biggest concern for Djokovic fans is that unless he improves his fitness, he's going to need to rely on hitting bigger and shortening points, because he doesn't seem to have the stamina and balance to grind the long points anymore. Hope I'm proven wrong.....sigh

Nardi was hungry, fast, precise and had super shots..powerful and deadly. Novak didn't play bad (as with Sinner in AO) but wasn't playing agressive or tricky enough to crack Nardi at the end. This is Tennis and the young less known players can surprise big time these days. Bravo Nardi!

Love that Nardi can volley, drop shot and hit a backspin BH as well as all the usual power from the baseline,. He handles the racquet well, is young. defends well and moves great and also was calm under pressure. So where has be been and is this for real?

Something is off with Djokovic this year.

Maybe his age or maybe he has some private issues which influence his game or both.. For example at AO I didn't see his wife on the courts.. Off course I don't know anything for sure - just giving some thoughts.

He is getting older, losing motivation and some reaction speed and focus. It doesn’t take much reduction at the highest levels to affect performance

Because he stopped taking his "magic potion"? Otherwise, his 24 grand slam trophies may be down to noughts?
